Im using the slim one and i am pretty sure that it was connected.

I cant even go to the part where you turn on and off cos at kinect settings its greyed out and says that it is not connected.

Thanks for all the help trying to fix it, but i am returning it to get a new one. and we will see where it goes from there. *fingers crossed*

Update: They replaced the Kinect and Xbox360s. The kinect was just not functioning and the xbox memory gg.com already. so far everything is working fine and fingers crossed.
