bro...i goin for 1k service on saturday at trendpoint...need to call to make appointment?
now around 800+ km... i will service b4 it reaches 1k cz if not i got no time to service it already after i reach 1k on d weekdays nex week eh...is ok one rite?

Yes, the transmission power loss matters...thats why I keep mentioning CVT vs Auto. CVT trany halves the power loss suffers by auto tranny. Against manual no fight, sure lar.

I'm comparing City with Persona H-Line Auto (nearest to City in term of specs) thus its actually 200kg lighter. Base line manual sure lighter with little tranny power loss. And City VTEC torque peaks at 3400, giving tremendous boost at low and mid-range power. At high end, I don't see much difference.

One month before PE is Persona IAFM like mine ( i got my car in april last year when PE just launch)

If u get a non- IAFM filter, u still can mod to fit in IAFM persona, but not the other way round....

Hah....actually Honda City VTEC 2006 weight is 1090kg. 1150 is the NEW CITY iVTEC one. The old one is lighter by 60kg. Unless you weight 160kg....than can match lor...

Haha..what the hell are we arguing abt weight for, I also can't remember..... City VTEC is what they term e-VTEC.......economy VTEC....got VTEC better than no VTEC mah...

the persona by the displacement 1.6 by right should win the city 1.5 edi. so if city do win i also have nothing to say. but when i seat on my friend latest city, his full throttle much more quicker acceleration than my persona. summore its smoother a lot. however, comparing honda and proton is really not a choice. hahaha~~wish the 1.6 have higher output. vios 1.5 had 109hp, city 1.5 had 120hp. i wonder why our iafm 1.6 only have 110hp. hahahaa~~actually i tot persona will use cps.

very suffer ler drive below 3k rpm, some more our PE no low end power, power kick in after 4k rpm...

the transformer city is use 5 speed auto lo..the previous gen city is use cvt for idsi and v tech..all the city was using the single cam lo even 1.8 civic oso is single cam

but cheap cheap one boleh pakai meh??

hmm..but still vios the best fc isnt it?? currently lah. but i heard the altis even better with its dual vvti. best fc for a 1.8 and 2.0. cvt is for smooth driving lah. not suitable to rev. later kong edi repair u cry.

Normally cranking start time will be difficult cos the gapping voltage is huge.. So car might take longer cranks or a few times to do cold start..
Then at high rev time ur car cant accelerate as fast as it used to be and the top speed reduced also.. Cos too much misfiring, so ur car no more acceleration.. Or ur car when going high speed like got asthma like that.. engine choking..

Erm not IAFM not cannot use.. But as a forumer her once said i think after 2008 the cars are IAFM.. But take a pic of his engine bay to confirm lah.. Or take out his OEM filter and compare to urs.. If exact same size then its IAFM.. If its shorter and wider then its cam-tak-pro.. Dunno whether the works got manufacture for cam-tak-pro or not.. Have to call next monday and ask..

Buy insurance for ur gearbox.. Soon or later going to kong.. haha.. Jaga the torque converter sikit or u will be the first PE owner to rebuilt a low transmission lost torque converter..
the swifttttt sounds when after u turn the steering and straightened it back is due to the orifice valve.. Its normal lah..
Did they change the power steering assembly for u?? If hvnt.. Just tell them whenever u corner u hear some metal knocking on the right hand side of the car engine..
No ah.. Clean and clear.. LDP just now was abnormally less cars compared to other friday nights.. GUess all scared and was staying at home.. The Curve, Sanctuary, Library, Laundry etc etc normally will be packed on friday nights.. But today not even half full.. Was racing with an Isuzu Dmax from BU to sunway.. No matter how i tekan also the fella still can tailgate me.. Haiz.. PE not enuf torque.. Only above 140kmh was i able to built some distance between my car and the pickup..
Etiqa.. Faster claims... and insurance premium got extra discount also..
our PE confirm dohc lah.. haha.. the altis dual-vvti helps alot in exhaust valve controls also.. so it optimises the low end torque as well as high end speed.. Very good compared to CPS or Vtec in FC..

Btw transformers was awesome.. Better than the 1st and definitely better than the 2nd.. Got story and got plenty of metal banging action.. XD

Haiz the whole LDP every one like on jimat Fuel mode.. Only this pickup cucuk me gaw gaw.. hon hon a bit somemore.. haha.. But reach sunway the fella also quite friendly.. XD.. Bagi thumbs up then ciao ady..
