hi guys
received my laptop just 15 mins ago. For an international company, HP malaysia really sucks..first their delivery time was way off..from 8-9pm to 10pm and secondly, they called me prior to the delivery to confirm that I received my free RAM so that they can install it...but upon delivering, the delivery guy said that he didn't get any instructions to do so, and there would be another form confirming that said installation if there was any... yeesh so now ive to figure out a way to install this RAM... will post here again later, hopefully..on my new laptop Added on July 11, 2011, 10:30 pmholy crap guys...its bloody difficult to remove the memory cover behind....damnit This post has been edited by faridz7: Jul 11 2011, 10:30 PM |

rurushu, avengers88, technically the HP guys should install for you upon delivery, which was what they said for me, but in my case, I had to install it myself as the guy said if he was told to install it for me, there would be another form....whatever....so I just installed it on me own

sigh, I think I'm gonna regrettably try to find a buyer for my laptop and try to get another nvidia-powered one since my problem is the same as louisfjh...I saw an asus one, an ICE-powered one with a 2gb nvidia card....but only if I can find a buyer
now if only I can find a buyer..dont wanna take such a big loss on it since Ive not done anything to the laptop... any prospective buyers for a 4 day old hp dv6-6114tx which has nothing done to it at all ? |

QUOTE(Lionheart88 @ Jul 17 2011, 06:52 PM) Okay, hmmmm. Can you all just hit on me Acer vs HP which are the pros and cons. My friends seems to be hitting on HP for having overheating issues and sly warranties and also money sucking but that beside the point. Definitely appreciate if you can help me with the questions. Like I said before, I'm quite the heavy gamer so I need one that doesn't overheat. And Faridz, I might take up that deal if I can see the light in HP =) |
