Well, mine somehow a little bit unique. DiGi initially said mine will be delivered within 5 working days upon launching today. But yesterday, DiGi called me again and said mine will be delivered today coz stated URGENT. I dunno how I got there

Anyone from Klang Valley area actually received their iPhone5 delivery? I have called the no. that called me yesterday, it seems they're the logistics company for DiGi under the name MESAB?

They said they're unable to deliver the unit yet because DiGi is yet to send them the nano SIM Card to activate the warranty hence none unit is deliver yet until today

I doubt this extra bandwidth has anything to do with 2x Internet Quota promotion from DiGi. That should be for DG Smart Plan only if I'm not mistaken

I actually went directly to their distributor yesterday to collect my unit rather than waiting for either Nationwide or GDeX to deliver to me today.

Spoken with the guys there and they shared how they couldn't control the small defect over the phone design. If you checked around other threads, many actually reported about scuff and this has been a norm ever since iPhone5 launched and people call this as, "Scratchgate".

I understand your feeling bro, spending so much yet couldn't obtain a perfect product which suppose this considered as a premium good. Those guys added that they couldn't do anything other than very visible damage unit. Apple said this scuff is perfectly normal and they're not accepting it as reject.

I still remember my 3GS, once collected from the shop and I went home only to check the rubber actually peeled out and chrome scratched. I went to DiGi Centre and they replaced my unit with some other unit (forgotten what they call it). But basically, the replacement unit is actually repaired unit which mean it's not exactly new. Same goes for other iPhone or iPad warranty, you wouldn't get a new unit but you'll somehow get a cosmetically new but repaired unit from Apple.

Is that after they installed the LTE equipment under their DiGi's The Tomorrow Network project?

Anyone using WhatsApp with the phone? Anyhow we can lower down the volume when notification alert while we're using the app? The volume is ok when the app is not open or minimized, but it's loud when we're using it

If you're existing subscriber with credit card instant rebate, you'll remain getting it as long as you didn't change your credit card no. If you're new subscriber, then yes it's only valid for first 6 months.

If you're existing subscriber but somehow need to change the credit card no. (due to card missing or account closed), you'll then entitled for up to 6 months only from the time of new credit card registration.

Well, as I explained earlier, those unit are cosmetically new and the components wise, probably from those returned units. In other word, refurbished units. You'll get a new serial no. altogether and when you checked online of your current set, it'll stated as unit replaced by another unit.

My only advise is for you to live with your brand new phone. Put on a bumper and you wouldn't see it. There's no judgement or guarantee that your next unit (refurbished) wouldn't have such issue too. It's already a norm for all iPhone5 as "scratchgate". Who knows if you get replacement and the battery die 20% faster than your new?

The sales exec from DiGi HQ that called me explained this to me when I asked.

Anyone updated to DiGi Carrier 13.1? Someone had mentioned in the iPhone5 thread that the carrier has been updated to 13.1.

Mine still on DiGi 13.0 and when I checked my friend's iPhone, he's on Maxis 13.1.

Any idea how to get the update?
