It’s outdoor antenna. Yesterday scan the channel, the channel appear back.
However, just now no signal again. Strange.

MYTV multiplex using 256QAM modulation, which one multiplex has around 33-35 Mbps bandwidth, so there are more space for additional channels. Such modulation often cause reception issues. Mediacorp DTT multiplexes has around half the bandwidth capacity when compared to MYTV somewhere at 16-17Mbps as they uses 16QAM (for better indoor reception)

However MYTV is using a bitrate of 4.X Mbps for HD and  1-2 Mbps for SD. Mediacorp DTT is using 7.X Mbps for HD, which is one of the reasons why our DTT has such poor quality when compared to Singapore DTT.

get a cloth hanger..and bend it 5 inch long on every side of the square..total length is 40inch+-

it works like wonder..even without a reflector..if u are very close to the transmitter. 20miles +-.....and no high building or forest/hill blocking between you and the transmitter...
the black electronics part is a balun or matching transformer(under 10rm in lazada)..u may need it if u are using coaxial cable..it works for me without it..

1.you can substitute the above balun with these one below..and run a cable with female connector in one end and male(to the tv) on the other end..
2.if u have a telescopic antenna be4..just remove the old telescopic antenna and join the wire to the cloth hanger antenna

you can use this for outdoor too...but you must make sure that the coaxial and the balun+connnector doesnt get wet

"TV1 does not exist"
MYTV is now doing some testing, causing some channels to be missing / gone temporarily. Thats includes RTM SPORTS HD and TV Alhijrah. Maybe it is done to maybe moving channels to another multiplex in future???

i wonder if there is a time delay in seconds between digital vs analogue broadcast...

Seem like that 700Mhz for LTE/5G deployment gonna be delayed again if analog shutoff still delayed.

"Siaran Ujian" has been removed from Channel W, meaning that the channel has become official on myFreeview DTT platform. However, that disgusting and useless syok sendiri "Siaran Digital myFreeview"  watermark is still in place on all channels.

Transformation from analogue to DVB-T2 in Malaysia for so many years = pain in ass.

Let's compared to nearest neighbours, Thailand, Vietnam. If govt just verbally promise and no effort to progress, just open sky enabling all resident in Malaysia legally set up their own C-band dish, I am pretty sure, at least RTM and TV3 are available via Measat C-band.

Astro monopoly with lots of ads, MYTV (DVB-T2) keep having technical problems, still Malaysian need to pay income tax yearly.

Look, how well Indonesia progress their Ninmedia, ku-band. I am pretty sure most of you know what am i saying. Resident in Thailand however, always prefer to use C-band for local TV reception.

Yup, the bitrate has been cutted to VBR 3Mbps. I wonder why such stupid things is being done despite picture quality is already bad even on VBR 4Mbps. (Note that MYTV had tested 2.5Mbps 1080i HD stream on TV Alhijrah in the past, but that was unnoticeable due to TV Alhijrah transmits mainly static scenes and lower quality HD!) Video breakup has become easily/highly noticeable even in not so heavy scenes nowadays and the bitrate given is a complete insult to sports and old SDTV content! May need to make a complaint to MYTV regarding this.
