Hey guys new xbox player here

Just a few questions to ask,

I created a US account (cos the market has more stuffs I suppose), and I'm worried when I play online will I connect to US/overseas people? Or does it find games by IP? (Have no online games to try now cos am waiting for MW3 and BF3)

And If I need to create a local account, like Singapore? Will I be able to download DLCs? Is it available worldwide?

Also I can't download demos of Black Ops and Halo Reach from the market. It says "not available from my current location" even with US account

Anyways to all experienced xbox users out there, let me know!

no matter what region account u make, if u go on9 games, u connected with ppl around the world i believe..

some DLC region block.. some can here, some cant..

"not available from my current location" = LOCATION not ACCOUNT
they detect your IP adress..

p/s - some said US account will lag abit when go on9 if play here? not too sure maybe somebody can double confirm..

no. theres no lag differences between US and SG accounts. Only market availability and features are different.

I been a PS3 player for a year now, and when I play Black Ops with a US account, I always get a red bar. And with MY account I get full bar.
That's why I'm not sure :/ Well that only happens in Black Ops.

black ops is design for xbl properly. ps3 version is slightly broken.

i played in US dedicated server and i m getting 2/4bars. conclusion xbl service is better than psn
