firstly, try to claim from the source you bought it from with receipt, should be ok.

if there are any issues then you bring it up over here, or to audio technica malaysia directly

try to send an email to audio technica singapore and see what is their reply?

i guess you bought your AT unit from overseas? even if you try to claim from AT malaysia, considering its not under them, i think it may be tough as well. thats always the risk when buying through overseas, when you save a ton from import taxes or even shipping in some cases, when it comes to warranty issues, prepare to suffer, as you may need to ship back to the source.

because u used ad900 right, no choice other than stick ad flagship or trus wood if u sudah sangkut ath sound sig, like me fortunately, but not for my wallet

anyways for recommendation, you'll want to be more specific, like budget/needs etc. or you may even try out the stickied recommendation thread if you want to try out something other than audio technica

AD700 arent exactly portable, firstly being full sized cans, secondly it leaks sound quite bad

that, and its WAAAY out of your budget lol

expensive doesnt necessarily means better.
i would say.. different instead.
u can follow this thread and found some people prefer ad300 over ad700, ad900 over ad1k or ad2k, etc.. despite having the choice of buying them.
just understand the higher the food chain, things become more picky.
as long as its musical and ur enjoying the heck out of it.. doesnt matter if its rm10 or rm100 or rm1k..
tho its unlikely u'll get same quality out of rm100 cans vs rm1k cans.

t200 is good price n performance..i recommended to my friend who has limited budget...

oh ya, what about Clarino earpad? anyone using it? the earpad for A2000x..
if they are selling it by any change, will it fit for AD900? and cheaper than the leather earpad perhaps?

bro herojack, interested with ad300? i can sell off mine.. 

200+- buy ad300 lae  sure worth it  but leak sound, i use ad700 oso in train to work  all by myself... errrr  *celine dion*

anyways, cn try ad300 ler, to jump u from this new kind of ship, then cn wood

but AD series is not suitable for portable one.. they are big, quite bulky to bring around..
and they are open cans, environment sound will definitely go inside and pollute ur music..

good cans for portables i must say d es series, bro lagi cun kalau itu esw9 or esw10jp hahaha

as for me i dun mind wearing my ad700 as portables n outside


as for hero : i dun think ath have detachable cable series

ANC Series those noise cancelling is detachable. 

yup around RM8++ and portable

like MIA je, i also didnt get to try his 1000PRM much that day, only few minutes as opposed to the 10-20mins length that id fine ideal for proper auditioning

@akabane: can provide details for AT malaysia to herojack41? so he dont have to go through singapore AT
also, perhaps can put down some info of AT malaysia (like office address, email link etc) on the first page for people who requires support from AT Malaysia directly.
