Yeah i intend to use it for fps too. Tested it on BF3 today and the huge soundstage is just crazy good i can easily pinpoint the enemies which my Razer Orca normally cant. Plus the Orca's bass is kinda boomy for BF3 where grenades' explosion covered those tiny lil noises.

hello all ................. would like 2 kno if the AD300 is any good for FPS games? Im realy tight on budget now and curretnly have ard rm300 spare.

Anyone here with experience of using the AD300 for fps games mind to add some feedbacks? oh....and how is the sound stage and clarity?

personally: DACport LX or ASIO software DAC.

havent experienced/auditioned anything else that's worth it (significantly better than ASIO) to spend money on, or better than the DACport for its price range (~RM1k ish)

Hi i just bought the m50 is it recommendable to get an amp or dac/amp

I've been eying the cmoybb is it a good pairing to focus on mids

most, if not all recent sound cards should support ASIO. it could be mis configuration and what not, as i spent at least hours to get things right

and no, im totally against FIIO lol. like i said, the improvement is very minimal to be even worth spending money on. and even the DAC port vs a FREE ASIO DAC is already pushing it a ton, as the improvements arent exactly leaps and bounds. then again maybe cuz im using the AD900 and not AD2000, or other more higher end headphones. things may be different if that were the case.

for the m50 bass to really shine, you'll need an amp like govibe peak to push it.

as for dac/amp, i personally would go with pure dac and pure amp, easier to control/tune/upgrade etc. there are exceptions like the centrance DAC port (not lx, the original dac port is dac + amp combo), and maybe the lavry (i never auditioned this, so no comment on this)

After 3 days near 70 Hours of burn-in process of my AD700 , i did notice the highs eventually soften out abit and there're some improvements on the bass too.

Anyone that owns / previously owned a AD700 notice this too ?

Hello, newbie here. Wanna need opinion on M50 is it worth it in the 5xx - 6xx range?

* Listens to Techno/ Pop / Electros
* Bass is important certainly. Clarity will be an added bonus.
* No amps will be used.
* Multipurpose usage such as using with the phone/ macbook.

Damn, i'll definately get my hands on the AD900 b4 May, or perhaps June. Freaking short of Moolah these few months.  1 thing for sure is that i wont be going back for those gaming headset/headphone anymore. PERIOD !
