And as for brown and JOS, i have my utmost respect for them. First, they come from our academy and have been loyal all these while. At their age now(30s) i guess they want more first team football before retiring. Afterall they didn't leave for any big four club, but did steve bruce a favour. Really good luck to them!

QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Jul 9 2011, 12:10 PM) Just for the sake of discussion, for those who thinks Sneijder might find it hard to adapt to English football...dont forget English football suits dutch best. We have great Dutchs like RVN and VDS. other teams? Look at bergkamp, van persie. VDV instant shine when transfer to Tott. Kuyt as well. Plus players like Robben, Marc Overmars, even Ruud Gullit. Just like how brazilians can mix into Spanish football, Dutch seems to have not much problem blending into English football. PS: my point here isnt about who we should sign. my point here is, I love Dutch footballers in English football I think no one is here to doubt a dutchman(wesley's) capability to be able to adapt to english football. He is one world-class attacking midfielder, i think we would want to argue more if he will become the CM we all have expected. And the wages we have to pay(over 200k) slightly will affect the team i guess(everyone may ask for so much more salary for contract renewal so it sorta affects the team morale). No big deal, but nasri or wesley would be really great. This post has been edited by nshady: Jul 9 2011, 01:15 PM

QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Jul 9 2011, 02:41 PM) Same argument also can be put forward for Nasri, will he be the midfielder that we want? Again to repeat, my posts have nothing to do with who United should sign, for me either Sneijder or Nasri are still far-fetched to get me ass off my chair over. Needs something more solid like a player running from car to training ground behind a towel to at least convince me If you have watched arsenal playing, you would have watched nasri playing as cm(not much tho). Wesley wise, like a freerole AM.

It is merely rumours la....when we have successful players everyone tend to be linked with real madrid. Example: vidic, evra, rooney. Of course, we have many players who went over to real (ronaldo, rvn, beckham) so thats why everytime when we forge very good players...they are linked with all of our good players. Even if they want to sign javier, wont be so soon. Still javier has much more to prove despite only his first season in epl. He's still young at only 23, much more to offer and real has abundance of attackers at the moment. Besides that, I hope de gea will be able to handle the pressure at his young age being number 1 in the squad. Maybe a little rotation between him and lindegaard will do. Good luck!

Hmm darron gibson, he may not flourish or excel in united....but if he moves to another club given all the chances to play he might be a great player, with great standards. Its just, he might not be good enough for me. But if he stays, we will never know.

QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Jul 10 2011, 06:48 PM) Speaking of Nasri, news reported City agreed £22.2m fee ady, with his salary of £185k a week. Who choses to believe? I will believe you. First, i think our 20m pounds was rejected. And we will never offer 185,000 per week for nasri. Not even 150k i think. Added on July 10, 2011, 7:47 pmQUOTE(roti-terbakar @ Jul 10 2011, 06:57 PM) Me! Like this sure Silva's chance to play reduced de. We can test water see how /FM mode on Erm actually silva is the best player around. They might come out with ---Silva---Tevez----Nasri---- ---Barry--Toure---De Jong OMG SCARY! This post has been edited by nshady: Jul 10 2011, 07:47 PM

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Jul 11 2011, 08:17 PM) I think if SAF sign both players this transfer window, that will blow the transfer budget already. If SAF wants to sign both players, I think he will get Sneijder first and sign Nasri next season on a free transfer. IMO la. Arsenal will not let him go for free. Either you sign now, or he renew contract.

Went to the arsenal match with a friend. Just wore a plain t-shirt, cheered for arsenal tho. Its like my first experience watching such game. Nasri came out as a CM in 66 minutes. His style was rather trying to move forward with the ball, passings not that much tho. Jack wilshere was rather awesome, really talented english player. Vela was ok too. We bought the rm 68 tix only, if MU is coming again, sure i buy the rm108 ticket with good view I don't think the VIP seats(RM 300+) is that good anyway.

I don't think its a wise thing to done at a liverpool vs malaysia match. If they are doing back to us in a mufc vs malaysia match, it'll be bad. I mean, you can wear outside to mamak or sth...but not during liverpools asia tour..

I know we have some history with some players who flopped here. But i will put all my trust in SAF. as no one knows the team better than him. All the trophies he has won with us, proving he's one of the best manager of the decade. People may talk about pep guardiola or jose mourinho. But every team have their flops, even barca or real madrid. It's not easy to stay at a club for a long term just like SAF, i admire his credibility, he's not the type who win titles and the move to another club. So thumbs up SIR ALEX FERGUSON!

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Jul 17 2011, 10:06 PM) Then, I guess you are contradicting yourself, no? I thought earlier, you were the one that asked for these or that player as if you know the team inside out. Now. you're saying SAF knows best? So, that means you don't trust SAF back then? Is that it? Why sudden change of heart? Because of zero probability of big name midfielders joining the team? Seriously, some of you lots in the thread are really funny. First i am entitled to voice my opinion, I think everyone have their own "FM Mode", they want this and that out, no? heheheh. Yup in the end, its SAF who decides. and I don't want to pick a flame war or sth. So, guess that's all im gonna post! PEACE BRO! This post has been edited by nshady: Jul 18 2011, 12:38 AM

QUOTE(-bLiZZarD- @ Jul 18 2011, 01:45 PM) if only sir alex have all the money in the world, and i can influence him to buy a replacement for our legend paul scholes, i want him to buy jack wilshere from arsenal, he is damn good. exquisite passing, a little bit temper, physical almost the same too. my 2nd choice would be marek hamsik, thx for reading. Why would arsenal even want to sell one of his most talented player around? and he's an english. QUOTE(calvin_yit @ Jul 18 2011, 03:36 PM) I'm gonna be rooting for paraguay. Their lingerie model fan promised she's gonna strip naked if the national team win the copa. Wilshere massively overrated la. Nope he is not overrated. I watched him playing a lot. He's a great talent, very good holding midfielder. He can spray passes, hold the midfield, move forward with the ball. Really talented english player.
