I seriously cannot understand city. When they good players already, following season wanna buy even better players to displace the good players when these good players are actually really GOOD and havent got enough chances to perform.
Example: Sanchez
When there's adam johson, james milner and david silva.
Another example: Clichy
When they actually bought Kolorov to take over Bridge, now wanna sign gael to replace kolorov? what a lol?
With their abundance of wingers and midfielders, really wonder why they want nasri...
Even if they get wesley sneidjer, there are toure, barry, de jong and milner...

Went to KLCC today. There's this guy who looks exactly like sir alex ferguson and he's the one holding the trophy and showing around. Everyone thinks he's like SAF. No football players today tho.

But heck, I still wanna criticize Mancity. Kolarov is one of the best left back in europe, and only had his first season with mancity. Why do they even want to buy clichy? lol.

QUOTE(kikurazz @ Jul 5 2011, 11:36 AM) it makes sense with Boateng leaving..Kolarov have most of the time last season played left midfield, only occassionally dropping back in certain games Actually they have options on left midfield. David silva excels really well there, and they have milner and johnson. Not tevez again with his stories!

First I wouldn't want to condemn man city so much first since they have a really quality team. One major factor nasri choosing them would be the money they could offer. Definitely man city have the quality to win titles or trophies, but i think with so many star players, the rotation would kill nasri in the team. We'll see which team he chooses.
You see how players like adebayor or jerome boateng ended up.

QUOTE(hocksoo @ Jul 6 2011, 08:03 PM) "Man Utd boss Ferguson to include Berbatov in bid for Bayern Munich star Schweinsteiger" See, from Sneijder --> Modric --> Nasri --> Schweinsteiger Out of the four, I actually prefer Schweinsteiger!! Actually his play style is like darren fletcher. running all over the pitch. A good replacement for owen hargreaves tho!

Adam is good, seriously. But he may not be the type of player we need. I wouldnt be surprise if he shines under liverpool tho.

It's ok lah...do steve bruce a favour. He's one of our great past players and a good friend of SAF. Maybe he can manage or coach the team in future.

QUOTE(SGSuser @ Jul 8 2011, 03:50 PM) Nasri had only 1 assist in the league last season...just saying 2010–11--- statistic Samir Nasri age 24 Apps 46 Goals 15 Assists 5 Arsenal's player of the season 2010/2011. I'd go for nasri not just because of that, he's younger and i think he has the potential to become even better. Plus he's bpl proven. I think wesley's wages is really $#$(!@(! QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Jul 8 2011, 04:04 PM) I personally don't prefer Nasri to join Man United, mainly is because his playing style is just not suitable for man united tactic. Nasri is more on a solo guy, dribbling through several players and shoot. We need someone like Pirlo style, giving nice passes to striker. Whether they are able to score , I do not care. I just care the overall teamwork and the communication. I beg to differ. I think he has the potential even to turn into the type of player who can control midfield and passes. Yes, his advantage is definitely his dribbling, technique and control. This sort of player is hard to find, just the zidane type of player. QUOTE(Reon @ Jul 8 2011, 04:19 PM) Nasri's dribbling with ball and penetration skill could be useful to us. Ever since Ronaldo left, we don't have players like that to penetrate the opponents' defense line. Giggs prefer to pass now as he lacks of speed, and Nani just not up to that level (yet?). Someone like Nasri could prove useful for attacking as he can terrify the defense with those dribbling feet. +1. We need this kind of talent. Ultimately, he can play all across the midfield.
