There's a booth in Pavilion, next to the little Christmas Merry Go Round thingy to sign up for various Maybank cards. One of them approached me but I told her I have already. Then, I heard she approached a guy and said only need I.C.
Didn't ask if there's any freebies, so if you guys want to apply for any Maybank credit cards can go to Pavilion. It's not agent, it's by Maybank itself.

I have also seen HLB booth in Pavilion GSC as well. That was two weeks ago, it looks like a permanent booth to me.

Gardens and 1U that I know of can get within an hour if you apply within working hours and working days.

Nope, no longer. I asked before when I accompanied my colleague to apply. We were told their branch no longer issues cards in 60 minutes. They only mentioned 1U but for Gardens I overheard the conversation between a customer and the officer when he wanted to apply on Saturday. She asked him to go again on Monday because it will be processed within an hour.

There is also a kinda looks like permanent booth for Maybank in TGV KLCC. It is an effort to promote its buy 1 free 1 tickets on Thursdays and everyday before 6.00 p.m., flat RM 10 tickets.

I applied my HLB MACH from Pavillion. It's a permanent booth, near to Padini.

Maybank2Cards Plat, OCBC Titanium (will be replaced with OCBC GE Plat), HLB MACH, AEON Gold and the newly approved CIMB Cash Rebate Plat. Oh ya, and company's supplied Citibank corporate credit card.
Comparing to those seasoned CC users or veterans here, I'm just a very small potato.

I'll stop applying cards for now, later will apply Maybank Ikhwan and RHB Plat for PPL purpose though AEON Gold covers this feature already but just applying for fun since no more GST and they are saying it's easy to waive RHB's annual fees. So why not?

Maybank seldom has roadshows, so if you want to apply, can just go to their branches or those in selected TGV. After all, they don't give freebies, so applying anywhere doesn't make any difference. Just that some Maybank centres will process within an hour.

Why did you choose to drop CIMB Cash Rebate? Since it has no AF and no more GST, just keep it and I find there are quite a number of places have discounts for CIMB.

If you are OK to share your details with third party website, then you can apply via them. I'm not comfortable in giving my information to third parties.

Maybank rarely gives freebies, their M2Cards are so good that they don't need to give freebies to attract people.
