dont know but i prefer signup from bank directly instead of via agents at mall, instead of eyeing their freebies.

to get more sales by facing customers directly! at the end of the day, you're the one having issues with missing forms, late approval, etc etc

agents earn incentives after approved card has min tenure of 6 months. problem is, they cannot guarantee approval of the card itself so, by simply doing more sales upfront (quantity > quality customers), they hope most got approved and used >6mths. then they reap the incentives later.

these promoters simply whack any customers they can "bait", then hope they stay using the card at least 6mth and get the incentives.

passed by one MBB booth few days back, promoter kept tailing me. pissed off, told him "i got 4 of your mbb cards, what else do you want???" after 1 promoter, next promoter tailing me again next time they do that, i'd tell them "i want cc with at least 10% cashback, for any spending, no AF, no cb cap, and no T&Cs" if their answer is yes-yes-yes-yes-yes, then i'd sign on the spot.
