hello to all sifus here.
im about to get my dad's old iswara (1994) in a few weeks time. i want to ask, what are the things that need to be chleck or replaced so that i can use it to travel long distance with less risk of breakdown. is it still possible to travel at 100-110km/h when at the highway?
any advice really appreciated. me still newbie with car. =)
Firstly you can check on several items first:
-timing belt (very important)
-other belting (aircond, compressor etc2.)
-spark plug, cable plug
-engine oil
-gearbox oil
-air filter
-batt. water
-radiator
If items listed above were in a great shape, then cruising at highway shouldn't be a problem.
If possible, check your wheels condition too, send for allignment, balancing.
