Wow notoriez so cheap ah? During early 2007, I still remembered being charged for almost RM300++ only for painting the bumper + driver side fender. Paint only. Haiz....
@piecereborn: try checking your door hinges, or your rear seat lock behind the seat. Usually if bunyi tikus caused by that lock behind the seat. Wrap it with some rubber tape then that should be fine.

If engine oil leak try to source what the problem is. If ur exhaust got white smoke, try replacing the valve seal. Could be one of the problem that caused the oil to leak. For the belting issue, just tighten back the belting and spray some WD40. Should be ok then.

The clip just pull out or need to twist? I'm not sure it's the socket or etc. All I know is that the clip is located at the bottom of the radiator there.

same thing happened to me couple weeks ago. I just changed the fuse for the fan only. Previous fuse melt d.. Cost should be less than RM2. Try those simple thing first. Fuse, relay.

Hello people.
Being hiatus for quite some times. I just want to get some information from you guys.

Currently I'm using 4G13 (Manual trans/Carb). When I driving at 110km/h, the rpm show 3600rpm.

1) I just want to know what is your rpm reading when you guys driving at 100km/h or 110km/h.
2) I want to know the reading from 4G13 & 4G15.
3) This is because, I plan to use 4G15 cause I feel that current engine is not power enough.

Thank you.
*
Some said the ratio of 4g13 n 4g15 gearbox is different. I'm not sure. Newbies. Btw, I've converted my 4g15p from auto trans to manual trans. The manual gearbox came from a 4g13 lmst car. My ratio now shown as below:
3000rpm - 100km/h
3500-3600rpm - 120km/h
5200rpm - 170 km/h
5500rpm - 180 km/h

Hope it helps. Btw if you changed to a bigger size of rim, your speedo meter will not be accurate anymore. As the rotation mass of the tire has changed.

check gearbox code for confirmation... not all 1.3 and 1.5 has similar gearbox...
vrbe has slightly lower 5th gear ratio compare to vrac gearbox....
*
this one I'm not sure. later I'll check either using vrac or vrbe gearbox.

a blast from the past! smile.gif
Proton Iswara Specifications

You can see the gear ratios, just do some calculation with the 5th gear, final drive, and the overall circumference of the standard 175/70R13 tyre, and you can work out the speed of the car given any engine RPM smile.gif I've did it before in the past and it was quite accurate but don't remember details, google will be your best friend here smile.gif
*
I'm using 175/70/13. tongue.gif Btw, total weight of current rim + 175/70 tire = 11-12kg. Kinda heavy I think. September will change to 15" lightweight series rim~

I experienced once before. During daytime I can't notice. Until when I go jalan2 with my friend. He ride his car and he saw white smoke coming out from my exhaust. I just change the valve seal and no more white smoke. Don't know your case same or not..

I kena RM70 for 1 bearing + workmanship. Sob2.

Ya ST clutch will improve pickup, but then it depends on how well you skim the flywheel because as I recall, if the flywheel is skimmed too light, you will only gain pickup but your top speed will suffer. So need a proper balanced skimmed flywheel. ST clutch still in my to-do-list btw. Haven't done it yet.
