Kuiba is the terrifying, world-destroying force that comes into being every 333 years. This cycle cannot be eliminated; and the only respite available to the beings of the universe (gods, humanoids, and demons) is to prevent the hatching of the seed that houses the current reincarnation of Kuiba, thus gaining 333 years of relative peace. In the world of Yuanyang, the year 1664 of the Kuiba calendar arrives with a terrible omen: this is the birth year of the 6th Kuiba. The Alliance of Yuanyang has been preparing for this event, and delivers a precise hit with the latest weapon, which is believed to kill the seed. However, Kuiba’s has evolved, and it has learned to harvest the force of the weapon to use as a protection shield. At the moment of the hit, a little boy is born on the lake’s shore in the homeland of the Beast People. His name is Manji. And HE IS KUIBA, but he doesn’t know it.
Certainly Manji’s adoptive father, Man Daren, is not aware of the deadly significance of the boy. Manji is thus raised, just as any boy of the tribe, to be a master of the Pulse Kungfu, with the ambition to attain the coveted rank and glory of a Demonic Knight. On the whole, Manji is growing up to be a happy boy. He loves his simple-hearted father, and his native village, and the practice of Pulse, even though his practice sessions with Man Daren frequently go astray and cause destruction to the neighbors’ properties. This doesn’t make them popular within the tribe; but it is the Call for Knights from the Alliance that finally inspires Man Daren and Manji to leave the Village of Wowo.
By this time, the Alliance has detected erratic signals that indicate Kuiba is indeed re-born, although its location cannot be pinpointed. Troops from the Sky, Earth and Lower Earth regions are being mobilized to hunt down and destroy Kuiba.
On their journey to join the hunt, Man Daren and Manji confront a vast and rigid society. They are refused entry into the Alliance troops simply because their brand of Pulse Kungfu is not officially sanctioned, and they lack the insignia of proper Demonic Knights. Together, Man Daren and Manji endure the humiliation at the hands of “authenticated Knights”, even ridicules by hotel managers denying them hospitality. Confronted by such cruelty, Manji is sustained, even elated, by the love of and for his father, and his single-minded determination to be part of the hunt, officially or not.
Manji and Man Daren finally arrive at the port, and under disguise embark on the Alliance Ship “Journey One”. Just as the Ship is pulling out, Manji is discovered and tossed overboard. Man Daren engages in battle with all the Knights on board, for he must save Manji, and join the hunt, or die trying. An enraged Manji emerges from the water, and with a tremendous burst of pulse power threatens to destroy Journey One and all the Knights. In the heat of battle, Manji is transformed and releases the Pulse Beast of Kuiba. With it comes the realization that to destroy Kuiba, he will have to destroy himself.
I'm not sure but posted here as the style is anime based and is made by Vasoon, a Chinese animation studio which has been around for more than 15 years. I heard about it last year and according to a site it's gonna be released somewhere in August. I'm terrible in reading chinese and maybe someone can find out more information about it? I'm not sure how it would turn out but I believe it would influence the current animation industry in China on better animation quality as well storyline.
