erm i got a question

a kingston datatraveller I

i accidentally dropped it, but then now its like the silver pin thing abit bengkok, so when i plug into the pc, it has some "scratching" sound like scraaaaaaaa........against the metal socket on my pc (the usb socket) normally will it harm the socket? well its not the main pins that is scratching, its the "square" outer thing that is causing it

guys, i want to buy a new thumbrive, but i'm confuse whether to buy a thumbrive or a notebook hard disk + ext casing ...
i want to buy corsair voyager 2gb, but with that money i able to buy 60gb notebook hdd + external casing, IMO...
i prefer a more portable device, but with 60gb notebook hdd i also can use it as a backup hdd... furthermore i dont really like to carry the usb cable along with the hdd...
i need you guys' opinion... thanx

nice benchmark u have here ;( both my pendrive mini and DT is here dy ...cannot make one although it's tempting

er... i got similar incident like this. i accidentally put heavy stuff to cause the my pen drive socket bent. i use multiplier (small one, made from aluminium alloy) to bent it back. somehow, it can use but very hard to insert and remove from usb socket.

does anyone noe whether can replace USB pendrive usb socket?

plug the damaged head into an usb extension...and use the extension head as ur pendrive's head ^^ just doesnt look nice heheh

i recently bought scandisk micro thumb drive 1 gb at Rm200...enyone use it before..any comments?

go to device manager - ur pendrive - change the policy to performance

then u can format ur pendrive to ntfs liao ...

datatraveler II plus i smore faster than version 1.

just checked cycom pricelist,datatraveller 2 512mb is rm130...if plus version about how much?

cant find plus in winchance, cycom, viewnet too, u try wawasan.
