It's better if they get the signings early into the transfer window. More time for the players to gel as a team and settle in. I'm more concerned with getting some players out rather than in.

I don't think there is any anti-gerrard lfc forumers here. Just less fond of him that's all. I think it's both good and bad that Gerrard is not coming, bad because I've always wanted to see him play with my own eyes and good because he is getting the rest and recuperating for bigger things when the new season comes on the way.

QUOTE(Rotuham @ Jul 7 2011, 09:33 AM) Hmmm then i wonder why some were complaining on LFC boards that it was so easy to get tickets last season at anfield and the famous anfield atmosphere Agreed. I don't think I need to "prove" myself a supporter to anyone because you should show other supporters the same respect no matter what their colour, region, shape, country they are. Anyways, I hate this talk of being best fans and whatnot. It's pointless to discuss this.isn't really there anymore.I dont need to show anybody how much i support LFC and nobody is great to judge a person's passion and support |

Just to share some of my experience yesterday, I reached the Bukit Jalil Stadium at 5pm but was stuck in traffic till 5.45pm before I finally got to the parking. Upon walking towards the stadium, I could hear the fans chanting "Liverpool Liverpool" I thought they had started training so I hasten my steps towards the stadium and was astonished by the crowd's enthusiasm and support for the team(the music played by the PA was a turn off though).
So I waited for like an hour for the players to come out and there was chanting by the fans on and off on and off. Everyone yelled so loud I could barely hear myself when Ian Rush and Thommo was walking around the whole stadium, that really got the crowd on their feet. The fans threw their scarf and balls and for those who did not have anything to throw for them to sign took their shirt off and threw it at them. It was incredible that Rushie and Thommo stood there to try and sign each and everyone's jersey, ball and etc. After that, when the players really did come out everyone literary got on their feet and cheered so hard and I was glad that there was no boos for Poulsen. The fans didn't stop chanting or cheering although I noticed some fans tried to sing YWNA but most of the crowd did not know the lyrics to it so it was a turn off. The players waved and entertained the crowd a little but at the same time it was training so most of them were more focused on it. I left at around 8.45pm after they finished their 11-a-side training to avoid the vuvuzelas that really was giving me a headache. It was an experience as this was my first time going to a football stadium and watching a team I love play/train. Will be looking forward to seeing them again tomorrow. P/S: Whoever in this forum is thinking or have already bought a vuvuzela, please don't bring it or use it. Its annoying and I think its hazardous. |

Oh yea, just to add, I heard on the radio that Kenny Dalglish will not be with the team during the friendly tomorrow. He went back right after the training session to sign Downing up and attend his medical..

Why do people complain about funny things like this after a football game....I was at blue gate and the fans around me were dressed in red but we all cheered whenever Malaysia got the ball and scored. We cheered every time the either teams scored.
