I wonder what the heck Flit has done on mobile suit design all the years??? He is a high level commander of federation and yet after after 25 years the Fed's MS are so lame... the same goes to Vegan, their latest MS lose to something that was made two-and-a-half decades ago, pilot by an amateur... Feel like F-22 get owned by F-5.

To me AGE plot is too rush. The ambition to cramp three generations under one single title is too big. It took more than 130 episodes to tell the story from UC0079 until UC0088 covering three major wars while AGE tries to do this in probably 50 episodes. So we see the "final boss" from Flit time went kaboom in one stab, and grunt MS lacks major improvement over 25 years.
Another problem is the character spoiler. Yes we all know the main protagonists ain't gonna bite the dust but even Asemu and Kio had spoiled that their mother will survive at least in their respective "time".
