the price should be 120k to make it attractive.

136k? why not tucson? tucson is one class higher than sportage even if they are using the same body.

i think 120k is the price. the older gen also selling below 110k only.

anyway, its a very very handsome SUV smile.gif with good looking steering wheel

yes, in this case, tucson is better, hyundai is always one class higher than kia.

maybe not to the extend of VW and AUdi, but hyundai is always one class higher than kia, lol

too bad, hyundai after sales is worse than kia

I think the price is too high for a Kia. They should have priced it about RM 130K max only. Despite its good looks and specs, the price will kill it. We cannot anticipate the success of the Sportage based on the Forte as the main reason the Forte is selling well in Malaysia is because of its lower pricing together with its good specs. Without good pricing, Korean makes will not sell well. That's a fact.

Look at the Hyundai Sonata for example. How many do you see on the road today? Despite all its hype, it only sold 1,367 units this year compared to the much older Toyota Camry which sold 2,599 units. Specs alone couldnt boost its sales. If they had priced it lower by about 7K, its sales would have been much better for sure.

Lets hope the Hyundai AVante doesnt meet the same fate.

well, its great for new sonata to have half the figure of toyota.

last generation sonata, nobody wants it at all.

in terms of gadgets, luxuriousity n price i'd prefer 3008 more..
but for 2nd hand value, after sale srvice, srvice cntre, and spare parts of course kia would be a good choice
*
lol, i'm not sure about value and ASS and spare part.

but 1 thing for sure, 1 is korean and 1 is conti, in terms of image, its miles apart.

btw, both under same company, so, the value and ASS and spare part, should not be too far apart.

Planning to sell after 4 yrs only?? Be prepared for a massive loss in resale value my friend. May i suggest you spend your money investing in property rather than wasting it changing cars every 4 yrs?  notworthy.gif

An SUV definitely handles differently from a sedan but I like the feeling of being seated higher for sure thumbup.gif In terms of size, the ASX is by comparison, the smallest of the 3 while the Sportage, the biggest:

Length/Width/Height (in mm)
ASX - 4295/1770/1615
Tucson - 4325/1795/1680
Sportage - 4440/1855/1635

sportage, really awesome.

sometimes i cannot differentiate between sportage and the bigger kia suv (forgot the name) both looks huge.

yea, but sportage is big enough to make ppl confused between sorento and sportage

but sportage looks cool in front, and sorento is fierce & macho. like pajero/land cruiser.

from rear sportage is very very good!!

hehe, sorento is only 5% longer tongue.gif
