Just came home with my new Techno Orange Kia Sportage. If I am to believe my SA, I am the first in Penang to get the car!

Yah I'm from PG as well ;-) And I tell you, I think the SA is more relieved that I got the car than the other way around. I bug him like crazy everyday, call 2 times and SMS at least once for the past 2 weeks. But the guy is quite good, the only thing is that I wished he would have taken the time to explain to me WHY there was a delay. From JPJ to PUSPAKOM etc.

What color are you getting by the way?

I did not noticed that. But I noticed another thing is when the speed up to 90-100kmh, I can feel the sterling really shaking (not sure if this is the right word to describe) and when up to 120kmh n above, it's back to normal. Is that normal?

Wow - the tint sure is CHEAP. I heard that brand can go up to 3K - or maybe its a different one. Anyone from Penang have good contact or recommendation for tint?

I did my tint at Solar Tint since i got a RM350 discount voucher from my SA. Did all 4 windows with 5m Security film IHR 80% Gold Colour and front & back screen with 95% IHR. Total damage RM1600 using my RM350 discount voucher.

to current owners, did you guys tint the sunroof?

a guy told me afraid the tinting will affect the night view of the light and moon. any comment?

"I wish to 'do it yourself' myself" - hehehe - sorry leds, just couldn't resist.

Can you guys explain how this works, and how to do it ourselves? I'd like to try as well.

I'm from Penang, the shop is in the mainland, near Juru Autocity.

In any case, after I went back yesterday the owner agreed to get someone to fix (or rather change the entire padding) of the interior roof area. I am wondering if this will further mess up my car. Is there any wiring underneath the padding? Can anyone advise on what's the best thing to do in this situation?
