It all boils down to whether officially your car is ckd OR cbu. If you don't have the AP, then it is ckd, argue all you want with the secondhand car dealers, you will definitely not get the same level of value as cbu.

I agreen if our unit is officially a CKD, then we have to group together and complain. Enough of this bullsh+t on their strategy to escape AP requirement, do understand that they are doing this at OUR expense. Think about it.
