Just test drive sportage. Last time I never like SUV because it's tall and bumpy. BMW X5 that I sat on when my friend drove me in his dad's car also feels bumpy

Sportage has a great balance suspension which very much less bumpy as I drove just now. I was suppose to go there to check out the arrival of my forte KOUP ETA. Now sportage is changing my mind! Gosh!!!

wondering 7mil security film will affect the durability of power window motor as it is quite thick and some more i get advice from Raytech people that 6mil is the most suitable thickness.
but according to her, 7 mil fit perfectly and fine to the power window...

Uve got the whole concept of resale value wrong. Second hand value is based on DEMAND not the original sale price. If the prices are higher the amount of the drop will be higher (due to higher % of drop) not the other way around. The Vios has got excellent resale value not so much because of the original price but because of its impressive sales (11,642 units sold from Jan to May 2011). This is a reflection of demand which in turn directly influences the resale value.

The second hand value figure may be higher due to the higher original value but when we talk about resale values we are talking about the percentage of drop not the actual value itself.

BTW, the Vios sells between RM 71K - RM 92K (excluding the promo discounts). Why just compare with the most expensive model only?

3008 and tucson i got test drove and the feel is totally different, acceralate, stability, comfort, interior dashboard cockpit, engine noise 3008 win far away
Biggest let down on Tucson is the soundproof, interior quality and engine gearbox on Tucson...Harsh, not refine, engine sound quite loud...
But u said sportage driving pleasure is quite like tucson...hmmmm
Still a tough choice...
Although at last i still pick Sportage dont know why...haha

I just got mine yesterday. So far I don't hear any weird noises from that car. The engine sound also very low.

Just one thing though, I think the tyre pressure a bit high. Maybe it's normal for cold weather country. I'm waiting here for my car to get tinted.

erm..left and right ok, soft. just the middle 1, its hard coz it got arm rest for rear passenger,same as forte..but forte's back seat more soft. sportage back as hard as 325 m sport,but 325 design for 4 person la(middle passenger seat hard til cant sit),mayb sportage design for 4 ppl car???haha,just my 2cent,dun blame me..

Agreed but the 3008 let down parts is the spare part cost and hard to find....very pricy if want to change any spare parts...
Regualr service the SA told me around RM2xx each 10k mileage
So far i got do some survey seems like not much things/electrical component or engine component that broke down...just regular interior plastic noise, vibration or steering columm/power window/sunroof making noise which i think still acceptable
For Sportage mine comfirm in second batch already...white habis stock
While waiting i also considering 3008...havent give up..hehe

One of the weakest point is the soundproof...engine sound quite obvious, especially high rev very obvios..
But not big deal lah...Later we can go soundproof the engine compartment..
I heard someone said tyre noise also very obvious...might be due to the korea tyre cause...So dont forget to soundproof the wheel arch there too...
