Anyone know where can I get a brand new ipad with version 4.3.3 nowadays except for garage sales?

no guarantee but try these few places

1. 1Utama, a friend of mine got his 4.3.3 from there roughly 3 weeks ago
2. Bangsar Shopping Centre (roughly 1.5 months ago i enquired there and they say they have 4.3.3)
3. Lot10 (bought my 64gb wifi from there roughly 1.5 months ago)

Yay. I bought a 32gb wifi only version.They told me it's 4.3.5 but when I went home and check it was 4.3.3. Now i can jailbreak *happy*

I jailbreak-ed it but when i open cydia, the SHSH: iOS is 4.3.5...how come ah?
what does that mean? Im really new to this so hopefully somebody could explain

That is normal. Apple no longer signs 4.3.3 and are only signing 4.3.5, that is why Cydia can only get the 4.3.5 SHSH for your iPad. It just means that should anything happen to your iPad, you can only restore it to 4.3.5 so don't screw up the iPad

Added on October 1, 2011, 1:48 amThis is not necessarily true. Even if you are on 4.2.1, if you open Cydia during the time that Apple is still signing 4.3.3, then most likely Cydia will automatically save the SHSH for you.

No. In the first place, it will not work even for iPhone 4 but there are others who strongly believes that it does work and I will not go into the argument.

Second, it WILL NOT WORK for the iPad 2 as it is not vulnerable to the limera1n exploit.

Added on October 1, 2011, 7:32 pmI have read that downgrading the 3G version is problematic as there is not only the SHSH verification by Apple (which can be bypassed if you have your SHSH saved somewhere), but also the baseband verification which is problematic. Say that you accidentally upgraded from 4.3.3 to 4.3.5 but you have your SHSH saved, the upgrade would have also upgraded the baseband of the 3G iPad 2. So when you downgrade, iTunes will see that you have the correct SHSH (since you saved it) BUT it will notice that you baseband does not correspond with the firmware version and some people have been stucked at this point

BUT ......

Since you are still on 4.2.1 and you never upgraded but you do have SHSH saved in Cydia (you opened Cydia during the time Apple was still signing 4.3.3), then there will be no baseband conflict, you can upgrade using the SHSH, and also upgrade the baseband without any issue as the baseband version will be the same as the firmware version.

For iPhone 4, if you are on 4.3.5, redsn0w tethered jailbreak is a straight forward jailbreaking process. Just need to point to 4.3.4 IPSW file.

Help guys!! I can't seem to charge my ipad when connect it to the charger...what's the problem..help..T_T

This is not jailbreak question, but whatever, have u tried charging using other ppl's charger? Or try from other power socket? Make sure connection is properly plugged?

I know this is not jailbreak question but this problem happened after i jailbreak it..well..when i bought it i straight away jailbreak..so you could say this is my first few charge..the cable and stuff is fine cuz the shop tried charging on other ipads and it works. For my first charge it works but not 2nd charge it just don't want to charge..

EDIT : Still couldn't charge even after plugging in and on/off for countless time. Finally did a hard reset and it's finally charging but I'm afraid the problem might come back again...anyone heard or encountered this problem b4?

Didn't encounter any prob using the same method jailbreaking with my iPad 2 as well. Since the Hard Reset solved your prob, I think it might be some problem with the preference setting of the iOS and it have been revert back to default by the Hard Reset process.

do keep us posted if you encounter this problem again.

i did my jb via jbme as well, but i doubt the jb would've changed anything in the power setting.

Having my 3rd charge now, no problem so far after the hard reset yesterday. Hopefully the hard reset somehow solved the problem though I didn't really change any setting after gotten the Ipad except for jailbreak-ing it. Hope everything is solved for now
