i read thru this forum just now and found out so many ppl advising to save shsh for ios5.0.1
i got this ipad2 secondhand set and according to the buyer he never jailbreak and when i got it is already 5.0.1
after i save shsh i found out that i have 4.3.3 shsh saved.. does the picture below shows that i have ios 4.3.3 shsh saved?
if yes i would like to do a downgrade since i cant wait anymore for the jailbreak..

Yes, u have blob for 4.3.3.

Good news is u can downgrade to 4.3.3 and job ur iPad.

Kept getting error. And followed the guide provided by one of the forumer here, I changed the host file and put my ipad into recovery mode, then restore. But got error again and now its stucked on apple screen.

What can I do? I just keep getting error.

i've downloaded tinyumbrella and try to save shsh after doing this updat ebut keep getting this message in log file...

"01/05/2012 23:31:42.232 CYxxx DOES NOT HAVE YOUR SHSH FOR iPad23G 5.0b6 (9A5302b) THERE IS NO WAY FOR YOU TO GET THEM. SORRY. YOU ARE JUST TOO LATE."

Guys! I have managed to update to 5.0.1 and i love the new interface. One silly questions though. How do i get back all those apps i install from the app store? Tried looking for the answer online but im still not used to the Apple jargon. Confused with sync, backup and restore. Whats the exact keyword im looking here anyway???

ok this happen to me too.
Make sure have latest iTunes (no kidding.. im serious here , at first im like what the, this is to fool people once i update all work out)
second error i got Error, make sure u delete ur host file before u update.
still cannot, try enter DFU mode ( if u r recovering from TinyUmbrella)

if u r downgrading and u r on 3G version u basically very very hard get pass the apple screen because of verification from TSS sever =T i tried 5 times finally downgraded to 4.3.3 from 5.0 3G version

Try go advance tab, tick off save SHSH from Cydia

Go app store, go to Purchased Tab... then ull see all ur purchased apps
but u must log in with ur APple ID 1st then only can see

During downgrading I encounter this error 9
I'm using iPad 2 3G n everything goes fine until last process " restoring iPad firmware" then this error 9 pop up.. Googled n they said is USB problem.. I try different USB n different computer the problem still there.. Anyone can help me?

TinyCFW: Create a custom IPSW for iPad2 and iPhone4
TinyCFW is a simple tool I put together for a friend of mine. He has an iPad2 GSM and has his 4.3.3 SHSH but since Apple is no longer signing 4.3.3, it isn't possible to downgrade to 4.3.3 without getting stuck in a 1015 recovery loop.
What TinyCFW is:

    It will modify an existing ipsw for an ipad2 gsm/cdma or iphone4 gsm/cdma
    It WILL modify the ipsw TO UPDATE YOUR BASEBAND TO THE LATEST!
    It will create an ipsw that you can use with TinyUmbrella AND iTunes to restore to a version of iOS that you have SHSHs for.
    It is primarily for iPad2 with a baseband OR iPhone 4.

What TinyCFW is NOT:

    A jailbreak
    An unlock
    A tool to protect your baseband.
    A tool that will restore your device to any firmware
    A tool for use with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPad, or iPhone 4S

The usage is simple. Start the application (double click on the jar or run the .exe file). You must have java and at least 2.5gb ram. (Yes I know. It's a lot. Get over it. I didn't write this to be massively distributed. I wrote this for a friend and am now just sharing it with everyone). Once the window comes up, click the top button and choose an ipsw for which you have SHSHs for. The app will scan it and tell you the firmware and baseband versions in the ipsw you selected and the firmware and baseband versions that will be in the target ipsw when you click the second button. If you're ready, click 'Save Target IPSW'. This will take a minute or two and when it is finished, you will have a file named:

<your original ipsw name>.bbupdate.ipsw.

You can use this ipsw with iTunes and TinyUmbrella to restore your iPad2 GSM/CDMA back to say 4.3.3 (if you have 4.3.3 SHSH).

This is a VERY initial release. I never intended on it being a massively supported tool. It's just something I used in passing. If it helps you great! This functionality will exist in far more robust form when I finally ever release TinyPwn.

Are you using the stock firmware? You can download the stock firmware from iClarified. Just Google "Where to Download iPad Firmware iClarified" and you'll get the necessary link.

You are trying to restore to the latest firmware so there shouldn't be any issue with BBFW etc. Remember to download the IPSW using firefox. Don't use safari coz it will add the .zip extension or try to unzip the file. The file should have the IPSW extension.

You need to create a custom firmware using TinyCFW method which will allow you to get out of the recovery. The problem you are having is because it's checking the baseband and it sees that the baseband is higher that what the 4.3.3 baseband is supposed to be.

I know one member has done it this way and he was able to downgrade successfully. This only applies for those with the 3G version. Those with Wifi Only version can downgrade without any issue if you have your 4.3.3 SHSH saved.

mind if i ask, i got my ipad2 3g jailbroken and now i would like to save the SHSH but failed to save 4.3.3 on tinyumbrella, is there any way to save this 4.3.3 SHSH?
