Apparently if I don't set my MTU to automatic in my PS3's Network settings, I won't be able to join any game.
I changed it to Automatic and I can join any game just fine now.

Okay, I was wondering what was causing me to constantly fail to join any game online but after some tweaking I found my problem.

QUOTE(El-LoboSolitario @ Aug 2 2013, 09:32 AM) Damn, I need human player for sure in higher difficulty... AI npcs kept screwing up... Not that it is unplayable but some quests are just nearly impossible to solo or with 3 dumb AIs... Well, even regular runs will end up soloing anyway, since the AI has poor survival instinct... I was thinking of getting the PSV version as well but eh... quite low on cash at the moment Any player (VITA vers) here? |

Thank I'm pretty sure that's the runes thingy which you can find the scriptures/writtings on the wall and you need to interact with it. |

QUOTE(ccyeoh79 @ Aug 2 2013, 10:02 AM) yes, correct. is a Rune Magic. i do try, some can activate, some cannot, some even missing 1. I stuck there 2 days. I for one, can't remember the damn combination for nuts.So all I tend to do is just try different combination when the scriptures for the runes appears. I'm sure you'll get it eventually, unless you're missing the coloured stone which you can buy from Lucain's shop. |

QUOTE(El-LoboSolitario @ Aug 2 2013, 10:11 AM) Haha, too bad! but glad to hear you managed to get to join online session! I think I'm almost done though, just left like a few more stages or something. You should start beating the game and raise the difficulty! It's getting more challenging if you don't lvl up and get good equipment... Even those higher lvl players still get slaughtered easily when they got outnumbered... Currently, I'm lvl30+ can't recall the exact amount. |

QUOTE(El-LoboSolitario @ Aug 2 2013, 01:21 PM) It is... The only bad thing about Dwarf is... poor anti air attack and air combo... grapple is awesome, but can be troublesome sometimes as you might not meant to grab the enemy and while you are holding the enemy, you're vulnerable! Yeah, I can see that judging from how the AI gets slaughtered so easily when the bosses are flying in the air.I am not sure if this applies to other melee classes... I thought the megasmash was invincible, but it happened once I got frozen by orc high mage (seen in hard mode) during the animation. As far as I've observed, the invincible frame last as long as his arms are still holding up, but this case it wasn't... Plus how he just gets knocked back each time he's carrying something. But we'll see, all of the classes are fun to use anyway and we need to finish all of them for trophy. |

Region doesn't matter when it comes to Multiplayer other than that I'm not sure what are the differences when it comes to the future DLCs.
Physical differences... none other than the one you've mentioned. |

QUOTE(El-LoboSolitario @ Aug 2 2013, 02:02 PM) The bombs are useless when it drops into water... obviously. So must be thrown wisely... That bold part alone makes his specialty rather useless in the late game, which is rather... well, sad. Also, grapple while remains strong most of the time, it is less useful when there are more elite monsters which are immune to grab at higher difficulty... But this doesn't stop Dwarf kicking ass hardcore... The mega thor hammer smash and bare fists are where he shines And whats more fun? Try to harass the town people with body press, hahaha! But enough is enough... leave them alone or you'll... hehe But we'll see how it goes, I'm not entirely sure which to pick for my sub yet. Just trying to narrow down my decisions |

QUOTE(El-LoboSolitario @ Aug 2 2013, 04:03 PM) Well, that's what he is good for... Mighty brute force is what he is good at, then abuse two moves with invincibility: Evade and Megasmash although he can still take hit like a dwarf (providing you regularly pump him up with spinach whatever)! Haha, will see what to play later.Constantly stay on the offensive side and avoid getting thrashed is the key of playing Dwarf! Play like a chicken will just get killed and died a coward anyway... The best defense is offense after all! Even with some negatives I realized, I still find him a great class to play with... Of course, what makes DC good, is every class is just as fun to play as! I'm pretty sure I'll be spending a lot of my time on this game, quite a grind fest too Seems rather simple to plat this game too, just need to spend a lot of grinding/farming. |

Spent most of my weekend playing this game
I didn't fully focused on my single character though since I was trying to complete at least one playthrough on my other classes as well. Almost completed my Sorc playthrough while my Dwarf only unlocked online mode so far. My main is only one step away from Inferno just that I'm taking it slow, just grinding and farming a little bit. And man, I'm loving the gallery so far. I've completed like almost the entire gallery and this is one of my favourites, I'll leave the link in the spoiler tag if you're afraid it'll spoiler(god knows how it will). » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(Joey Christensen @ Aug 4 2013, 01:51 PM) I like it! Looking forward getting this game. Can I just lurk around the same area (dungeon) to farm without progressing further? Yeap, of course. QUOTE(ccyeoh79 @ Aug 5 2013, 09:14 AM) Just clarify things further, you're only allowed to change the audio to either ENG or JP of your created character(at the beginning).Narrator can be changed once you completed the first playthrough of the said class. Each of them can be bought from Lucain's shop for 1mill This post has been edited by Sora: Aug 5 2013, 09:44 AM |

QUOTE(TenSou @ Aug 5 2013, 02:21 PM) Your stats are scaled to Normal's Lv35 cap and you have to collect all 9 talismans again to fight the ancient dragon. Just to clarify this a little bit, you'll need to collect the talismans for their respective difficulties you've entered. Each time you kill the Ancient Dragon(on the said difficulty) your talismans will reset back to 0. For example if you're on Hard mode with total of 6/9 talismans but when you head back to Normal mode, it'll be back to 0/9. If you decide to go back into Hard mode it'll be 6/9 again. And yes, you can just complete all the quests in Normal mode. QUOTE(j0n8 @ Aug 5 2013, 02:21 PM) It's rather easy for me though.QUOTE(retsmot @ Aug 5 2013, 02:30 PM) Read my text above for some clarification. This post has been edited by Sora: Aug 5 2013, 02:32 PM |
