Kinabatangan? We have one court that looks like a decimated war zone.. Pro shop is about 1 1/2 hours away which is situated in town. It's not much of a pro shop. We can get the very basic necessities there... i.e. balls, probably a selection of 5-10 good quality racquets that are completely overpriced, and tennis shoes are... let's just say... sad sad sad.

The only thing that I actually purchase or do in those pro shops is  restringing. And THANK GOODNESS they have the Ashaway Crossfires that I use.... before that, I actually had to use some cheap imitation of tennis strings that had no brand.

However, the tennis community in Sandakan is excellent. very good fraternity here. If you guys wish to come, do stop by for great tennis, great seafood, and great nature trips.

No tennis shopping whatsoever though.

Just got back from Topper Sports. Wow, that place is like a Christmas shop for tennis. A lotttttt of rackets and am surprised that the so call good rackets are on sale from as low as RM200. Case in point the Wilson K Blade Team. Even RSH also selling at RM799 50% off, Topper still cheaper, lol.

Managed to get a pair of Adidas shoes for a steal, preferred the Barricade Team at RM189, but sadly no more size.

Any comments on the K Blade Team racket? Is it a good racket for a beginner to start his tennis adventure? Would appreciate any feedbacks. Thanks!
