QUOTE(pel @ Jun 18 2014, 10:35 AM) I believed I have some bad news for Mario Kart 8 WiiU Bundle owners. Just got an email from Nintendo saying that based on my serial number of my console, I am is not eligible for the free games promotion. Meaning to say your bundle is Asia? Not sure if it will work if the bundle was bought directly from the US(from Amazon etc). But do let me know if any of the MK8 WiiU bundle owners here manage to receive the free games. |

Never regretted getting the Wii U 2 weeks back. Managed to get the Zelda Bundle and get the Mario Brothers Wii U free. Along with MK8 and SM3D Worlds, it's a great introduction to Nintendo for my 2 boys.

QUOTE(paige.pc @ Jul 5 2014, 11:40 PM) Cos everywhere out of stock lo I think the Super Mario bundle is pretty difficult to find. Last I saw one at 1U, near Caring pharmacy. Gamers Hideout mainly selling Zelda Bundle. Not that I don't want to buy mk8 bundle Those I found available is like freakjng expensive prices I don't think the Mario bundle comes with wiimote also. Alternatively you can get the bundle here http://www.e-playzone.com.my/ Pretty reliable and quick shipping too. |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Jul 17 2014, 06:25 PM) I say man almost near to Platinum? Super Mario Brothers I guess.....nostalgia....If I got gold I also don't know what to get myself. Anything will do I guess, just get the one you think you like. I was between Game & Wario and Nes Remix for platinum and decided to go for Wario because more expensive. Will get NES Remix next time. |

QUOTE(retsmot @ Jul 31 2014, 03:49 PM) hey guys i planning to get a wii u this coming october along with bayonetta 2. Since you're definitely going to get it...why don't you go and get a bundle now since it comes with the free game if you purchase a MK8 now....i have read kyo's excellent faq on it and i think i understand the wii u situation in malaysia roughly now... i see most shop(online) only sells the bundles wii u, like mario/zelda bundle is the most common for about rm1150. is the normal wii u set(without game bundle) rare in malaysia? its prolly cheaper to buy a wii u normal set+ bayonetta 2 than a bundled system + bayonetta 2. right? |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Aug 6 2014, 10:49 PM) Nice bundle! On a separate note, just to share my experience with external portable HDD. Have been trying to use external portable HDD last week, and a lot of forums actually suggesting getting USB Y Cable if you plan to use portable drives. Scouted Low Yat for that cable but none of those shops actually sell those kind of cable. So here's a couple of suggestions, 1. You can use USB2.0 type of HDD, as it's easier to find the USB Y Cable (I got one from those external casing RM19 and it comes with the cable, only thing is it's a Mini USB port), been using an old Sense HDD for the past few days and seems to have no problem running games from the drive. It's actualy 120GB hdd inside. 2. Before doing no 1, I have previously just tried using a Toshiba Canvio USB3.0 drive, managed to move the games over but occasionally they will be error here and there. So I purchase the USB Y Cable (USB3.0 port) from eBay and waiting for the item to arrive, I believe the drive should work with that cable so I will update once I got my hands onto that. Like to download games because of the existing Digital Deluxe Promo, and minus the hassle of my kids playing with the physical disc. My copy of Nintendo Land and MK8 had their fair share of fingerprints of 4 and 2 year old there, so better to be safe than sorry Now eagerly waiting for the next launch titles like Splatoon and Bayonetta 2, will probably buy it via eShop too. QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Aug 7 2014, 11:18 AM) A good idea would be to use the an individually powered external HDD. But you'll be losing out on another power plug point. So wintzen's method of using both USB ports at the back with a USB Y cable is ok enough. Yup, you're right. My power plug point is already full to the brim.Because all the HDD needs is actually, sufficient power. Which seems that 1 cable is not suffice for the WiiU. |
