noob question,

1. what will the average price for new WiiU games be after some time (after 3 months or more)? Will the price drop?

2. Can a PC DVD read/writer make back-up copies of WiiU games? - Not pirating, just back up since I have zero faith on RM1 worth plastic disk containing a RM100 game..

3. Is there a list of HDD that can be connected to the WiiU?

4. Can all downloaded softwares installed and run on an external HDD?

@Alternate-Zer0
Thanks for the answer. Maybe I will try to find my ancient PS1 disk to read later..

According to this links, WiiU optical disks are customized blu-ray disks, iDensity; 25GB single layer.
Is there other ways to backup the disk?

Nintendo's USD200 Answer To USD400 Wii-U Problem

Seems like online purchase seems a bit rough.

Since WiiU is region-locked, is the US set the best there is?

Wii U Deluxe

Ops... Nice catch.

Anyway, RM 1249.00 is the final price (from USD350) that NewEgg Malaysia quoted me. If I wait maybe 2 ~ 3 months until Wii U is sold at neweggbusiness.com the new price will be RM1184.

Kyoyagami, the only legit concern for the gamepad:
Dropping the gamepad. I have dropped my 3DS XL unfolded (1m high), but no damage. Is the gamepad tougher? How tough is the screen?
Sony and Microsoft is immune to this issue because their controllers are sold everywhere. Nintendo is only selling the Wii controller.

With the end of DDP, will Nintendo have meaningful eshop 1st party game discounts?

Got a WiiU from Kyo on Friday night.

1. How do I apply screen protector on the gamepad?
I bought the biggest screen protector from Daiso (bigger than ipad mini) and the gamepad screen does not follow the s.p. grid boxes.
How to cut the s.p. properly?

2. What's the best thing to use to clean the gamepad before applying s.p.?
First time apply s.p. but can see bits of dust here and there..

ayaakera, note that physical copies of WiiU games are hard to find. The HDD space is also limited.

avars, just buy the game in eshop. It's only $20. I will rather redeem Donkey Kong, a $60 game than a $20 game
