anyway.. metro is unoptimized piece of tahi.. the developer sucks at optimized programming.. so whatever they say regarding performance is irrelevant.. simple as that

xenogear online.. for sure.. there is a chatbox.. and some kind of party system.. with wii u touch screen keyboard, on controller mic, and everything else.. it just fits nicely

2 parallel zelda game in development.. bayonetta 2 looks not bad.. damn.. now I am more inclined to get wii u first, than to get another 3ds this march for monster hunter multiplayer.. =_=

no.. the wii u wont be obsolete after ps4 came out.. not at least wii u is 4-5 years old or more...

for example, look at the 3DS.. the PSVita with all the powerful spec has already been released for almost a year, which by hardware enthusiast logic, would make the 3DS obsolete.. but 3DS is still here, alive and kicking hard, with many superb game are coming this year.. monster hunter, animal crossing, the new 3D pokemon, and I bet more will be announced this coming E3 around June..

there's also a possibility the new xbox or the new PS will not be all that much powerful.. probably just a few inches better than wii u.. who knows

but then again, it's up to what kind of games you want to play...if you only like the mindless shooter and FPS's or action games.. I think the new XBOX or the new PS would have more of that compare to Wii U.. if you want more diverse genre of games, I think Nintendo does better job.. That is if Sony and Microsoft stays like what they are doing with the PS3 and the XBOX360..

and before anything, no, I don't want the Deluxe version.. IMO, it's not worth it.. I rather spend the extra on a wiimote+ with nunchuck and some games..

Finally bought the wii u..

BUT.. got a problem

was updating the firmware yesterday, I just oversee it about half an hour.. already half way the update that time.. then went to sleep.. Woke up this morning, the Wii U turned off, the LED is blinking red.. wont turn on.. internet says I can reset it by unplugging the power cord so I did.. it worked.. I try running the update again to see if it's finished.. It says still got update, so I run the update again.. but after a few minutes (almost half an hour I think), it shuts off and the LED blinking red =_=

so, long story short.. I found that the blinking red LED is due to overheating.. the back area of the Wii U is abnormally hot.. I kinda automatically think maybe it was the fan.. and I was right.. the fan does not spin when the Wii U is turned on.. %$#^%$^& =_=

anyone knows how to fix this? I'm bringing this back to the shop later after work.. but I don't think they'll want to claim warranty for this..

I hope so... because it kinda the last stock they have..

update: Got replacement for Wii U.. phew.. the seller were very responsible enough to replace my Wii u without second thought.. though, If the first thing I did yesterday was create a Nintendo ID for the wii U.. they said, it'll be a trouble for them they also said this is the first time they sell a Wii U (or nintendo in general) console that is faulty..

so lesson learned.. make sure you test, and confirm the goddamned exhaust fan is running, when buying new console.. especially when imported ps4 or xbone arrive later lol.. overheating is number one problem for console apparently..

overheating.. I got this problem with my first wii u too.. lucky the shop can replace it.. you can try check if the fan at the back is running or not.. mine was not running last time, causing it to overheat..
