Bayonetta 2 just announced for Wii U.
Dragon Quest X announced for Wii U as well along with off-screen support.

Here's what I speculate, the Wii U dropping in price before the Xbox 720 and PS4.
It's inevitable. The $300 for the Standard Wii U is just a ploy for everyone to go the Premium route which is only $50 more.

We'll be seeing the Standard at $249 before the end of the next year.
