i think they do this maybe coz afraid someone might reverse engineer the thing n mod it to work with the pc like how the wiimote last time.

The new WiiU box puts me in mind of a HDD media player.

In fact I would not be surprised a few media players start looking like that somewhere down the line.

it's 8GB Flash Memory, but got USB support for external HDD.

Buy your own external hdd for cheap instead of being tied down to expensive proprietary hdd like the xbox.

The only thing is, USB 2.0, while fast, isn't nearly as fast as having an internal bus. But if they use USB 3.0, on the other hand...

Read that each WiiU only comes with one touchscreen controller. Other controllers remain as the wiimote (Maybe an updated version I'm not sure).

That sort of means no expensive extra controller, just same as usual. Only thing I wonder about is multiplayer games, I would be fighting to play with the 'cool' controller.

I really hope Wii U default controller won't be the touchscreen...as it sucks for hardcore gamers...
