how to do conversion:

1. power off phone until it's vibrate (if u don't have extended power option)
2. go into recovery (volume up + home button + power button)
3. select advance Speedmod ULK features
4. select Convert filesystem to EXT4
5. wait till the conversion process is done
6. reboot phone
7. enjoy speedmode!

convert from rfs to ext4 = lagfixed = speed up your phone.
The "lag" might not be really noticeable most of the time. Basically, operations on your phone hang/freeze for a moment while executing. It can be apparent when doing something like switching screens, opening/closing apps, using the soft buttons at the bottom of the phone. Sometimes, apps don't work very well because of the lag. A good example of this is theg facbook app. For me, before the lag-fix, it took a LONG time to populate photos in facebook. After the lag fix, it's pretty close to instant.
The lag is due to the phone using Samsungs own file-system (rfs). The lag fixes create a (faster) ext4 partition. The system files are then moved to this partition which then increases the phones read/write speed. you may not really even notice the lag right now. But, once you've used the phone with a lag-fix applied and go back to the stock phone, you will definitely notice the lag.

what do you mean by do conversion again? if you want safe flashing convert your file back to RFS and flash t8 and then convert to EXT4 again. Normally same kernel no need to convert back to RFS.

i just ran Quadrant on my friend's SG S L... the result is 750+ only, whereas my SGS hits 1006.

for safety use odin1.3 so far no problem at all. some version doesn't compatible with Window 7.
it is same the only different is cwm version and color. if you are on darkcore you will have white cwm.
for cm 7 max i saw is 1.6ghz. but i dont think your phone will be stable.
try to use market enable change code to t-mobile,us.

I think every kernel has its own app to convert/check your filesystem.. you can download it from market

try cm7 #29 + fugumod = no problem, but you have to flash #29 twice before flash fugumod.

Forgot it has since been changed. Depending on your personal preference but I used to use Optimum setting.

If use you aggressive or extreme, apps will close to often and will annoy you i.e. browsing on opera with many tabs, had a sudden call, then all your tabs will be reloaded. No point having too much free RAM. They are there to be used.
