It's honestly so much more quicker than Whatsapp and the level of integration (all in 1 app) is something even BBM users will be envious of!
The major issue with iMessage is that it's not cross-platform...
Apple really needs to look into addressing the time stamp restrictions on the Messages app! Not being able to see the time each message is sent/received without jailbreaking is quite absurd really.

Have been using the iOS5 beta on my iPhone 4 since it was launched and honestly it's not that bad at all. So far only one of my apps can't launch (2Do) and the well-known Wallpaper bug is kind of annoying.Stability wise, my iPhone has yet to crash on iOS5. Battery life is only very slightly worse.
