If I am not mistaken iOS 5 launch will be after iPhone 5 release. I remember reading that the iPhone 5 is already in production and iOS release version is still not done yet.

Looking forward to both as I think they have the potential to raise the bar. More important that it does especially since its the first major release of post steve apple.
