QUOTE(KHOdin @ Jun 6 2011, 07:33 PM) anyone tried using iPad VGA adapter and a VGA to RCA adapter connect to the TV ? I assume you want to connect your iPad to a SD / CRT / non-LCD TV? The ones with the yellow, red and white composite inputs? Well, I have asked the same question:does it works ? wanted to get the adapter for air play movie purposes ... http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1899707 and basically it will not work. That is, unless you buy of of the scan converter box thingy. Read the article in one of the link in the above thread, it shows you the converter box that you need to use. I decided it is just too troublesome to connect to too many devices / adapter. |

QUOTE(KHOdin @ Jun 7 2011, 10:53 AM) Direct connection works, but the quality is terrible (compare 1024x768 on your pad with 640x480 interlaced on your TV). Don't waste money on anything other than VGA or HDMI connection as you are better off with your iPad screen. |
