eh, anybody realized this? apparently the optical one is using the same sensor as MX518/G400, ADNS-3080.

looks like Mionix Naos tongue.gif
*
G400 uses ADNS-3090, same with cmstorm spawn.
its the 'public version' of the S3888 that DA uses, which is basically a 3090 thats tweaked by razer.
ADNS 3080 is older and used by diamondback / mx518.

owned MX518 a long time ago, its almost the same like G400, right? oh wait.. you.... ah.. nvm...

Dont like Spawn  tongue.gif
Xornet? nvr heard that before, how was it?
and why say kinzu sucks? most people I know say it is nice!
*
why u dont like spawn? cos of the shape?
using same sensor as G400.

xornet is cheaper, i already post some differences here - http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1060858/+94

CM Xornet, a carbon copy of Spawn. biggrin.gif IINM, Xornet is driverless..and other differences gotta check out the CM Storm thread or wait for Everdying to reply you. G400, Spawn and Xornet all share the same sensor, ADNS 6090, which is the pub version of the 3888 used in Deathadder, so I guess now you know why that 3 mices is highly recommended? tongue.gif

Kinzu is shit, crappy sensor. Just do a simple google search and you know why..most of them is acceleration-related. But I think Kinzu v2 is ok. smile.gif

Razer DA. tongue.gif Ikari Optical is okay too, I'm using it. One of the main reason I got Ikari cos of it's shape, uber comfy. DA one is like kim kardashian ass, and your hand is like curve punya.
*
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

ADNS 6090 is a laser sensor, its what G9, kone etc uses.
G400, Spawn, Xornet are optical mouses...

Spawn is suppose to be using ADNS 3050.
Xornet, G400 uses ADNS 3090.

basically sensor wise, i doubt there will be much diference.
but driver wise, got reports that g400 jitters with it installed...and i never bother to check if its fixed as its not my problem.

Alot of g400 users claim that it's a good mouse? And it's quite risky to buy it online though, even through traders, because they dont even know about the non-prediction version being exist.
*
i dont see anyone here say its a bad mouse?

QUOTE(creative zn @ Feb 3 2012, 10:05 PM)
whats is prediction on g400 that everyone talking about? is it really bad that everyone want to avoid it at all cost? @.@

for the one that have 3600dpi/1000mhz/used same sensor like DA yet cheap should be the most recommended mouse does it?  sweat.gif
*

between
a Kinzu v2 pro edition
b Razer Death adder
c Zowie AM

which one you guys thing will be the best choice? i usually play lots of fps and some photoshopping so i need a mouse which i can change the dpi on the go(by switch of button like in my gmx-5). Nothing much on other details. my style is more of plam style. if that might help.
*
1. DA
2. zowie
69. kinzu

DA doesnt have dpi switching where u can jump from 1 dpi to another instantly, but it has on-the-fly sens, where u can control dpi in variable steps of 0.5 from 0-10.
zowie should be able to jump dpi, but then only 3 steps and may not be accurate enough for photoshop etc.

how the on the fly sens work really? like how can i know im in low dpi good for sniping and at higher dpi when i switch to  handgun? care to explain?
*
eg. u set the on-the-fly sens button to one of the side buttons.
then u press it, and move the scroll wheel to move the settings from 1-10 in increments of 0.5.
say if ur mouse default dpi u set at 1800dpi, at 10 its 1800dpi, at 5 its 900dpi, at 7 its i would guess 1260dpi and so on.
at 1, i would guess its at 180dpi.

the DA mouse default dpi u can set either 450, 900, 1800 or 3500.

the on-the-fly sens can be set to pop-up a window like this, so u can see exactly what its set to.

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Feb 14 2012, 09:22 PM)
basically it works something like that,
You set on the fly sens to 800dpi and 1800dpi respectively. When to toggle the button, instantly the dpi will switch from either one to either one without you exiting the game. smile.gif  so let's say you sniping at 800dpi, then suddenly you see someone coming, so you just toggle that button and faster switch to handgun.

does the back and forth button on the thumb act as dpi switches? for the DA.
*
if u want dpi switches, DA doesnt have.
some razer mouses that have are imperator or naga.

i much prefer on-the-fly.
i really hate dpi switches that are near scroll wheels, like my former SS Xai.
lost count how many times i accidentally press it, and my aim goes haywire tongue.gif

I think most Razer mouse with the rubber top coat will leave stains. Thats why now their latest generation of products such as the Imperator 4G, Naga Epic, Mamba 4G and DA:BE all dont have the rubber coating which means it wont get dirty easily.

I would like to buy a Razer headset soon and which is better, Orca or Electra? I already has a mic. BTW, the Orca is the same as the Carcharias except for the mic?
*
uhh what is better for what? cooking?
orca is in its own class, mostly for music.
carcharias / electra has different specs than orca.

for me, i'm waiting for the tiamat 2.2 to be widely available.

watch shops should have that screw driver.

is that fan made?
stupid tier is ok, tho the sentinel should be placed there too.

and if spawn is in godtier, then DA should be there too since essentially the same but better configurable sensor.
