Having some problem with ants in the house. They are everywhere. Little red ones. Sometimes hard to see cause they are very light in colour. Do anyone know any way to get rid of them? Tried some ants powder and spraying them but they just seem to start again somewhere else. cry.gif

Dont cook on weekdays so food around. Left the house for two weeks with no food at all they still around. rclxub.gif

Anyone have any method of getting rid of them?

Thanks.

Tried some ants powder but not sure which. That path of ants ends and another new path(nest) starts again somewhere else... cry.gif

i went to hardware shop and ask ant powder....cost like $1 or abit more....1 packet will do....

just leave it at their path....they will kill the whole colony....

no more ants just after 1-2 days.....but becareful not to consume the food in that 2 days period if its walk by by ants, wash all things before use....i guess that thing can kill ants should be able to kill human, albeit slowly, if consumed.

it works for me....ants aren't seen for 1 year at least before it comes back. can't help becoz apartment, every direction it can infect back slowly.

try to find out where the ants enter your condo and seal it off with some putty. normally enter around windows and doors.

My mom bought ant repellent in liquid form...which she will use a paintbrush to brush all the sides and corners with it. No ants for months!

However, I'm not too sure whether they still sell it as it is poisonous. She bought it from hardware shop.

that means you didn't get all the real entry points, try to back track all of them until external walls/doors/windows

logically, the ants have to enter your apt somewhere or else the nest is already in your apartment!!

Try ant bait. It takes a few weeks but they eventually die off. It worked for me but I really had to be patient. Find the their entry exit hole in the wall and just put the baits there. Don't put other food nearby. The idea is to get them to eat the bait , bring back to the colony n poison the rest slowly.

buy those poisoned biscuit crumbs at the hardware store. it costs only about 80cents a packet. the ants will hoard the crumbs to the queen, queens eats it and die, killing the whole colony as a result.

I purchased a rather expensive ant bait from a hardware shop...(RM15). It looks like little red poppy seeds. Apparently the ants will bring these back to the nest where the whole community will then be poisoned and slowly die lor...

Worked like a charm!
