has anyone applied visa recently? It is easy? Must i really place my money in fixed deposit or i can just show my stamped bank book? im going with a group of 4. And do the embassy check ctos or criss or saman or anything status before approving? or just based on the documents we submitted? Thanks in advance for replying =)

just done with Japan Trip, 15 days in total (Osaka, Nara, Kobe, Kyoto, Tokyo) , Hotels RM 2200, RM 4000 cash (f&b, souvenir, trains, and one burberry black label polo tee), flight (i won't share as you guys can book during discount period, AirAsia FTW), visa approved with RM 7800 on saving account submitted.
