Answer is Yes...If you ATM card or Credit card behind got a word show PLUS Global ATM access logo then can.  Service Charge around RM3 - 5.
With the PLUS logo can we withdraw money from any ATM or just certain ATMs?
Are the instructions in Japanese?

^thank you for the information. it's very helpful. should definitely be included in the main page FAQ..

anyway, any of you guys ever spent the night at haneda? is it alright or safe to sleep there? I'll be arriving around 1045pm. another option i'm thinking about is staying at a nearby manga cafe (if there is any) while waiting for the morning train.. think it's a good idea? i heard homeless people usually stay there.

^here's my reason. it's my first time travelling there. not used to haneda or the train system. i don't want to get lost in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night when the train has stopped running while carrying my (maybe?) heavy luggage.

nope, i'm going in 3 months time. so i'm doing all the research now in advance.
but still for me the timeframe seems too tight. if there's any delay/mistake i may end up stranded.
sleeping at haneda or manga cafe just sounds like a feasible option and can save money too...
so i'm really considering it.

It will be my first time landing in Haneda (landing in Narita previously).

Do google and check out on Haneda Airport's map and also which train to take to the hostel/inn/hotel that you are staying at. That way, you won't be lost.

If you are the sort to only find out upon arrive, then i wish you good luck.

Socket will be different. if TV / etc tec.....if Handphone / computer they got adapter....110V - 230V will be auto step down to 10-20v for the electronic thing demand...so at Japan / US / Europe / Asia also can used...problem is you need the socket head only.

Oh Ya...computer stuff selling at Japan super expensive due to tax. totally no worth buy any computer stuff at Japan

oh so when i bring back to malaysia just need the right socket la right. same as when u wanna use malaysian electronic stuff to japan

If not mistaken, the commands of the camera will all be in Japanese and can't select language but it may have changed now. A friend bought a DSLR from Tokyo and he had to slowly learn up the functions!

that's true also. shazzac how was your trip?

Hi...

I'm searching budget hotel/backpacker near shinjuku area.. BUT
SUnroute Plaza
Sunlight
Shinjuku New City Hotel N.U.T.S TOKYO
Best western antina shinjuku
Prince

All the above exceed my budget. RM500+++++/night.

I prefer to stayed 2 nights at SHinjuku instead of IKEBUKURO..
As think of after return from HAKONE MT FUJI last stop will be at shinjuku and Shinjuku was quite convenience to buy advance disneyland ticket and HAKONE FREEPASS..

Can you pls suggest any of accommodations below RM300/day at SHINJUKU area.. walking distance to shinjuku area preferable??

Thanks,
Joey

i stayed in ikebukuro. it's only a few stops from shinjuku on the yamanote line and there's a disney store where you can buy disneyland tickets in ikebukuro. just a suggestion because i find the hotel there much cheaper biggrin.gif
