Im pretty much settled down now. Currently in the process of learning the language. I can speak a bit now and read a bit of Kanji. Still a lonngggg way to go to master the language and I'm still looking for job  cry.gif

Try google and look for jobs first. If they are interested and willing to sponsor you a visa then things will be easy for you. Most important thing of all, you need to learn Japanese first. It will boost your chance to get a decent job. I have been here for 6 months already and still no hope in finding one. All the best!

I got it too for my daughter roughly ¥450,000. Slightly more maybe because of caesarean. My wife gave birth in KL tho and cost of giving birth in KL is way much cheaper than here. How much did it cost you?

I've checked Halo Works but most of the jobs on the offer are for those who speaks Japanese. Mine is still basic. It's really tough out here more than I thought.

Requirements for classify that food is halal or not are the ingredients and place where they cook. You can even eat a non-Muslim cook food as long as the 2 requirements above are met for halal. There's no such thing as u cannot eat their cook food based on their believe.

It doesn't matter who's cooking; it matters what's being cooked.
*
Sorry cant get wat do u meant..2 requirements above are met for halal ? hmm.gif
IF the meat or chicken slaughtered by non Muslim then you CANNOT eat. Shiah considered NON MUSLIM.
Sorry oh my english very bad, broken grammar...

QUOTE(Pijal @ Oct 22 2012, 10:41 PM)
how can u sure that shiah is really non muslim? what are requirements of becoming muslim that shiah doesnt follow? i dont want to drag this off-topic argument.. take it somewhere else.. and like i said, its about what are being cook and slaughtered chicken falls under what being cook.. not who is cooking it.. u can even eat slaughtered chicken from christians and jews.. y not shiahs?
"This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time― when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues. If anyone rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good). (5)" - QS 5:5

I confident the shiah is non Muslim bcoz of their 'aqidah'...Their 'syahadah' is different....they are not from 'ahlu sunnah wal jamaah'...so? They sacrsm 'Rasullulah sahabat's' what else....In Malaysia already declared by JAKIM n etc. 'Syiah SESAT' ...
Yeah agree with 'christians and jews' BUT truely 'christians and jews' (Ahli Kitab) not like christian or jews in Malaysia definately CANNOT! (Where can we find in Malaysia now days 'ahli kitab'?) The jews also we can eat by their slaughtering BUT when its 'darurah'. So when we got 'darurah'? everywhere got Muslim one...even in Japan also hehe...

IF the slaughter is NON MUSLIM so as a Muslim we CANNOT eat...unless the Muslim so daring with Allah!
Wallahualam...

Syiah believe muta'ah is the best, their mother can be marry with any guys! LoL!

Syiah also only pray 3 times a day only...

Syiah NOT A MUSLIM!
We as a Muslim ahlus sunnah wal jamaah CANNOT eat by non Muslim syiah slaughter FULL STOP...

NOTE:
Imam az-Zahabi telah mengemukakan satu riwayat daripada Saidina Ali sebagaimana dinukilkan oleh Ibnu Hajar al-Haithami bahawa Saidina Ali berkata Rasulullah saw bersabda "Akan muncul didalam umatku di akhir zaman nanti satu golongan yang dinamakan Rafidhah. Mereka menolak Islam".

Mereka menolak agama" (al-Bukhari, at-Tarikhu al-Kabir, j.1, hal 279-280).
Rafidhah itu Syiah.. yawn.gif

I hope you have been successful with your job search and are all settled down in Tokyo.
My family goes back 2x a year but I malas nak ikut. Japan very stressful place - too many unwritten rules.

Besides summer in Tokyo hot giler sial (or raining) and winter (while not really super cold relative to north) in old house with no insulation is madness.
On the other hand, the recent yen-yasu is much welcome.

Take care.

Will try haha, but dont think will go to any meido kissa this time. Jom bring your kids go nippon to latih!

Tokyo seems to be almost the same, but I notice ppl are not as polite as 4 years ago, e.g. crossing road when light is red,  not giving the seat to elderly in train, jumping queue and etc. Also, it's really warm now even its still early April.
