It is not so difficult to accumulate those points for big spenders. However, I doubt people would redeem the 42" TV. By the time you want to redeem the TV, the model is already dated.

Be alert! It's all right to MBB but this is not applicable to other banks like Alliance Bank. I had been charged interest by Alliance Bank twice because of this.

1. some online merchant wont accept amex till u call amex helpline and ask to 'open slot' for that merchant.
i did it for more than 5 times already. maybank cs will ask u 'how long' need to 'open the slot', usually i said just for 1 hour.
at the time i'm typing this, airasia website still not implemented this security (just finished booking). MAS booked last month (aug) also same

the merchant of coz must support amex and have amex logo, can even select amex as payment option.
but if u just key-in ur amex info without call cs to open the slot, ur transaction will be failed.

note: this is malaysian registered-based website. if call maybank cs and ask to open the slot for this company, they already know about this company.
previously, too many scam happen at this website. people using stolen amex number to pay.
thats why the implement this security (co-operate with maybank?).
