if u got a 3 pin fan connector to molex converter, mod the pin and put it to 5V instead of 12V. (take out the 12V pin and swap it with the 5V, the GND just leave it)
i do that and now my side panel fan is totally silent, and the airflow is good enough.

QUOTE(RattleSnaKe @ Jun 5 2011, 07:23 PM) As a side note, we see that OP uses a CM 690 which has a side intake fan and it is not noisy (maybe bcos he not complaining). BTW I am also a user of that paticular side panel and it is silent too. Yes I do use cm690 but I fitted a cm stock silent fan on side panel so its totally silent Added on June 6, 2011, 1:34 amQUOTE(swhung @ Jun 5 2011, 11:23 PM) if u got a 3 pin fan connector to molex converter, mod the pin and put it to 5V instead of 12V. I do consider about this but I had change the side panel fan as exhaust . So problem solved thanks guys This post has been edited by Jayi: Jun 6 2011, 01:34 AM
