Lol..normally those new things hav many problem...common sense

Mac, are u experiencing any problems with your copperhead?, because i am, after installing the drivers and stuff, i decided to test it playing BF2, after that the mouse simply 'Freezes', it couldnt track anymore, but the clicks are working ok, only the laser stops tracking, i tried to re-plug and it still is the same, i tried downloading the new razer driver 6.07 (mine is 6.04), when finished installing it + restart, my whole Razer Config tool is gone, when i reinstall the config tool, the driver is back to 6.04, WTF!!!???

i tried this on 2 diff comps, and still is the same, Gamers can u tell me whats going on? is my mouse the mouse where we cant update its driver/firmware? (ie. the supposedly not-for-sale mouse)

i read the razer forums at tigga.org and many more are experiencing the same problem as i am, the laser tracking simply stops!

BTW, i did everything correct!, no power cuts or anything, everything was done carefully.

Mine's working fine. You have NOT updated the firmware. The first time the update runs it REMOVES the old Razer drivers and then asks that you restart the machine. Restart and your mouse fails to move (that's cos you've removed the Razer drivers  ) Unplug and replug your mouse from the USB port. This will force XP to use it's native mouse driver. Then install the update from the DOWNLOADED FILE. This was what I did and I am running version driver 6.07 firmware 6.13.

Very nice mouse but takes a little getting used to as the side left front button is exactly where my thumb likes to rest. Have to relearn to grip it by the rubber waist. It is also a little disconcerting at first to have every slight movement translated to a mouse movement. Well, that's why it's 2000dpi I guess.

ok this is what i did, please tell me where is wrong, and what i should do to correct it. (BTW, the mouse now suddenly runs fine, and the driver [at the config tool] still states its 6.04).

1. Unpack the package, then plug it in USB
2. Installed the razer driver from the provided CD.
3. Downloaded the one and only firmware for copperhead at their website.
4. Double clicked on the setup, it says it will remove all the other razer driver, i clicked OK, then it installs it?, asks to restart, i restart, and then same problem.
5. I installed the driver for like 3 times, and whenever i do that, the same problem occur, and to make matters worst, the razer icon/folder is gone.

please do tell me what u did step-by-step in installing the drivers for the mouse.

and BTW, your driver displays the V6.07 at the config tool?

Btw, izzit juz me or Ash and Mac has different firmware version after update?.. one its v6.13 and the other its v6.15?..
