You clicked on my link, then you would see that inside the "6 benefits box" the period written there is "valid till 31 October 2012"..

I just apply it online after saw the promotion period had been extended. Hope this time will be approved as already being rejected twice before. =(

Hi Gen-X, I noticed that in your blog, you mentioned SCB Gold CC got RM150/250 cash back for new approved card (in the picture). However, if you clicked to apply Gold and Classic CC in SCB website, it did not have the "6 benefits" box besides the application. So it maybe no cash back for new approved SCB Gold CC.

FYI, SCB Business Gold did have the "6 benefits" box.

Therefore, need someone to confirm/ ask CS whether SCB Gold CC new approved card still eligible for the cash back.

Apply online last week and received call today from Price Solution. Hope this time will be approved as being rejected twice before. =)

1st time is through agent. That time I just graduate and didn't have any CC yet.

2nd time is half year ago through online application.

I had applied the card online and the flow as per below:-

29 Aug - Apply online
5 Sept - Received call from Price Solution to forward my attachment
6 Sept - Received sms from 63365 stated that my application unsuccessful =.=
8 Sept - Received call from SCB to verify my I/C and mailing address

When I ask why I still need to verify my details since my application is rejected, she answered on her end, my application is still in process and in final stage and she don't know why I received the sms on 6 Sept.

When I ask further did you know which card I applied for, she said she can't veiw my application data except the personal detailed as her task is to verify my personal details only. Btw, the call no is received on 8 Sept is shown"Unknown" on my phone.

Anyone any idea?

In terms of cash back, I think Maybank 2 AMEX is the best. No cards can beat the 2.5% (Treat Points) + 5% Cash back on weekend.

I just received msg that my card is approved.. Not sure this round sms reliable or not.. haha..
