I am part of an amateur choir in KL and we will be participating in a few local and international competition/performance cum workshops - the upcoming one is in July in Bali.

Event description: This year, SOORYA INDIA FESTIVAL 2019 in colloboration with Indian Cultural centre, High Commission Of India Kuala Lumpur, will showcase a cross-section of India's rich cultural heritage in a spectacular celebration of Indian Classical Dance featuring a duet of Pallippuram Sunil (Kathakali) and Paris Laxmi (Bharatanatyam) and a Kuchipudi recital by Reddy Lakshmi. Malaysian artiste Shalini will be performing Bharathanatyam.

The proceeds will be donated towards Cansurvive Centre Malaysia Berhad, a non-profit cancer charity organisation.

Sopaanam Arts, In collaboration with Indian Cultural Centre, under the patronage and guidance of Dato’ Dr L Krishnan, is organising Soorya Festival Of India 2019 in Kuala Lumpur (In aid of Cansurvive Centre Malaysia) on 15th June 2019 (Saturday ) at 7:30 pm at Shantanand Auditorium, Temple Of Fine Arts, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

Artists performing from India include world renowned Bharanatyam exponent Ms Paris Laxmi , Kathakali Exponent Mr Sunil Pallippuram and Kuchipudi Exponent Ms Reddy Lakshmi and Bharatanatyam by Miss Shalini from Malaysia.

The proceeds raised from the festival will be donated towards ‘Cansurvive Centre Malaysia Berhad, a non-profit Organisation that provides guidance and compassionate community support for patients who suffer from cancer as well as their family and friends.

It's what I've been looking for, I'm very interested in the events of the musical world, because I basically admire people of art who achieve results and enjoy their work. Sometimes my friends and I go to concerts, not only to popular celebrities, but also to little-known musicians, who are also incredibly talented and artistic. And every time it's an incredible atmosphere and experience that lasts a long time. Now it will be even easier to find them.
