Yamaha Band Mentor is a platform for aspiring musicians to enhance their level of musicianship. The program is to promote local talent and music at national and international level. 5 bands will be shortlisted from auditions.

Hi all

I just signed up here,im new in malaysia.

One of the biggest (if not the biggest) bands from my country have contacted me saying how pleased they r to hear im in malaysia, later they asked me wether I can help them throw a live concert here in malaysia!!

Ive never tried to launch or be the hand in making a live show for maybe around 300people or 400


I dont know who to contact or ask for arrangements or how it works


Can anyone please guide me through it or tell me how to start it?

A special event from the newly established orchestra called the Selangor Symphony Orchestra (SSO) under the baton of Maestro Eugene Pook​, will be held at the prestigious Dewan Jubli Perak, Bangunan SUK Shah Alam, Selangor. This special event by SSO is an inaugural concert which will feature world renowned violin soloist Zhang Le (张乐) on Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. SSO will also present the Verdi’s Triumphal March from “AIDA” and Tchaikovsky Symphony No.5.
