Any of you have to pay dunno what puspakom or jpj inspection amounting to rm150?

Im interested in the mud guards as well if you guys decide to bulk

I think i can finally get my car next week. I went thru quite an ordeal to get my hands on this silver insight but now seems like wasted the time and aggravation since so many new stock is on its way.

BTW did your SA wants the owner to go to JPJ to register the car? And also ask for Puspakom Inspection fees? MY SA want to save some money I think by doing this and charging me for it.

What is IN2? Insight Second Batch?

anyway ours started with 2nd gen ma so no point in stating the obvious

Plenty of silver insight in stock now. I found out that these cars didnt just got off the boat from Japan but came with the first batch before the big quake. Its just that some parts are missing and needs them to complete the car. Dunno how true is this though. Maybe its not completely CBU as claimed. Parts like seats, tires, all pasang here?





btw which tires are "better" - the Dunlops or Bridgestone?

Finally after more than 3 months wait, got my silver insight. To tell you the truth I hate driving a new car. Too scary LOL

During inspection found both my map lights not working plus a pin head size paint chipped at the bottom front bumper.

I asked about CRZ. SA says launch cancelled for now

one more day ok la. mine got registered today

How to search where are the service centre location at Honda.com.my? I only see Dealers location but no Service Centres

Something weird happened today. Started the engine and a few seconds later, the Cobra alarm came on. Had to off the engine, pull out the key and press Open Door baru stop.

Two days after having Insight, I still haven't got a chance to read the owners manual. So far my likes and dislikes -

Likes -
1. iPhone works! Wow can select albums playlist artist etc. I knew earlier can play but didn't realise that it can really do selection just like the special iPod kit found in my mercedes. Best of all can even charge the iPhone
2. Auto lights and if I'm not mistaken auto wiper too. Again mostly found on contis.
3. No regrets on a Silver Insight - Easy to keep clean and no compromise on the good looks


Dislikes -
1. Getting a fair bit of vibration. Dunno from where but suspect the tires. Any comments?
2. Wish the door would auto lock. Ask SA at service centre they say they don't modify
3. Wish wing mirrors would auto fold in. Why they don't include this as standard?
4. Only one remote provided - how to order another and how much?
5. Key too long - wish it can fold

The auto start stop and Aircon cut off don't bother me as much.


Now need to RTFM so I can learn more cool stuff about the car

guys, what kind of emergency kit did you all get? i got a warning triangle plus a bag of glow sticks. thats it.

Yes glow sticks like those you bend and shake chemical glow stick
Freebies I got an umbrella plus one crappy keychain. SA says help me put the key in the keychain, I said no need kekeke as I no intention to use it....

i got an empty tank..... LOL

All these SA give sad stories and face.

At first want me to pay for puspakom inspection and go jpj to register so don't have to pay runner to do it. I said NO. I told my SA - "I don't ask anything from you, you don't ask anything extra from me"

SA says commission very low so I wonder who makes all the money. The car only cost RM56,760 plus another 10% Sales Tax so total RM62,436. HM price is 94,950.80 so siapa untung RM32,514.80????

It's stated in the copy of the AP. All CBU cars you will need a copy of the AP so selling it that time won't be a problem.
If your SA didn't give you yours, demand for it.
