QUOTE(autobeng @ Jul 1 2011, 02:34 PM) Hi there, Just want to ask the sifu here. Insight provide an button to engage the VSA system. Can anyone advice when should we turn it on and when should we turn it off? If it is suppose to provide improved active safety features, why is there a button to let driver to turn it off? Leave it on all the time Only time you turn it off is when your car lands in the mud and the wheels are slipping New Insight owners that just got their cars should check on their tire pressure. Most likely it's over inflated. But after correcting mine, the car still jerks and bouncy feeling especially at slow speed. This is making me nauseous

QUOTE(debbierowe @ Jul 2 2011, 02:30 PM) hey... most of u got insurance cover for windscreen rite?
i heard it is HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended as the windscreen will cause a fortune if anything happen SPECIALLY TO INSIGHT becos its fully imported Your car insurance already covers the windscreen. You buy extra cover just to protect your NCD. You have to decide if your NCD is worth protecting or not by buying extra cover. My SA also asked me to buy windscreen protection and I told him the same thing. He then makes a call to the insurer to confirm what I said is correct or wrong. LOL finally he said he has being telling the wrong thing to his customers for years

Source - http://www.simonpoonagency.net/motr-insura...urance---claimsWindscreen Damage Claim
Frequently Asked Questions 1. Can I make a claim without affecting my NCD if my car's windscreen is shattered? Yes, you can if you have extended to cover windscreen as an additional coverage. 2. What if I do not have windscreen cover? You are still able to make a windscreen damage claim, but this will be considered an Own Damage claim under your Motor Insurance policy and your NCD entitlement will be affected on renewal. Excess under your policy is also applicable.

The ones selling at Ace Hardware very expensive. Homefix sells a much cheaper version - their housebrand punya. Im also looking for them but there is no Homefix near me. I think I will have to drop by either 1U, Empire or Great Eastern Mall http://www.home-fix.com/locateus/locateusmalaysia.aspx

You should have been more specific when instructing your SA. Nowadays it's very easy to go get your own numbers unlike before. Just go JPJ early in the morning and you will be done by 8.30am
