Hmmm... isn't the engine is turned off (RPM is Zero) during auto stop and only the blower is working? the compressor only activated when the car is engine is running (RPM is not Zero)
Now I'm confused

The engine does stop when the Autostop is on, that's why the RPM is Zero.
When it's cruising on Battery alone, the engine cuts the fuel supply (Low RPM) but it's still running

Actually the last diagram from the brochure stated it doesn't stop in particular condition means not every time you stop the car and the Autostop will be on.

I don't think he supply bodykit or spoiler only... those small small plastic part aslo he make leh...

Actually few months back, my brother and me did a small experiment on this tint things. V-cool Elite vs 3M crystaline 50. In the end we can't really say which 1 is better and alot of debate.

The experiment.
A yellow VW Polo with V-cool vs White Golf with 3M.
2 thermometers
2 cut into half lime
2 set of white sticker on a piece of ceramic plate
Time: from morning (around 10am) till 2,3 afternoon under direct sun (no trees, no building)

The end result
the temperature is higher (by a bit, can't remember how much) for VW Polo. (3M 1 - Vcool 0)
The lime in both cars looks no different. (Draw)
The edge of white sticker on ceramic plate curl up in VW Polo and the 1 in VW Golf is perfectly intact. (3M 1 -Vcool 0)
More people claim the temperature in VW Polo is cooler compare to VW Golf (even the thermometer show it's warmer, they said the thermometer is of different brand so no count ) (3M 0 - Vcool 1)

I'm not saying 3M is better here but I chose 3M for my new car and it's RM1,600 not RM1,500 as Happyman said

I use pencahla Link and Duke Highway almost everyday. So far so good, but really have to slow down. I place my SmarTag right infront of the digital meter.

I'm not sure which vkool series you use but my vkool elite works fine with Smart Tag
It's the 3M that gives me a little bit of headache



Hope you are not pulling my leg will give it a try next time. And you mean the rear view mirror right I was thinking why would someone place the Smart Tag at the back while I have to drive so near to the boom gate for the signal to get through

Ya, I figured it out. But my tint covered that area as well so I don't think it will improve the reception.Tried it this morning and still prefer to place it in front of the meter and remove it after pass the toll. Thanks for your suggestion

Best if you can keep at least left and right side same. I had a similar experience with my dad 4x4 few years back where I changed 1 piece of rear right tire (same profile, size & rim but different brand) before travel long distance. Half way through the journey, we can felt the car vibrate badly and made a lot of noise then the newly replaced tire exploded. so from there onward, my family always keep at least left and right tires same.

Can you tell/feel where is the knocking sound coming from? Is it from the engine or the wheels or any other part? I've not encounter such problem but do feel that the brake is a bit tight with my feet off the brake pedal. But i guess that could be because the car is still new or the KERS thing.

I discovered something interesting, yesterday me and my friend did a simple comparison between 2 insights. and what surprised us is that when we drive from point A - point B together, the FC reading can be VERY different. We traveled from Kelana Jaya to KLCC and the FC result is 18++km/L and 20++km/L.


idoblu is right, windscreen is include in the 'general' car insurance.

Optional windscreen insurance is for windscreen only and if your windscreen damage/crack/chipped, you can claim without affecting your 'general' car insurance NCB.
