Sometime compressor noisy might due to installation problem. As is always recommend to get a professional installed. When air cond piping doesnt not installed properly such as wrong copper size, copper pipe not purge or vaccumm properly this will all lead to decrease the compressor life span.I guess is all about luck, my Panasonic is still running good.
But of coz cant deny sometime depend on luck.
